اللہ تعالیٰ مرحومہ کو جنت الفردوس میں اعلیٰ مقام عطا فرمائے اور پسماندگان کو صبرِ جمیل نصیب فرمائے۔ آمین۔

With profound grief and a heavy heart, we have received the sad news of the demise of Madam Shahida Sohail, Director Public Instruction (Elementary Education), Punjab.
Madam Shahida Sohail was not only an outstanding education officer but also a remarkably kind, humble, and compassionate human being. Those who had the previlege of meeting and working with her will always remember her gracious personality, approachable nature, and sincere concern for everyone around her. She led with dignity and inspired countless officers and educators through her professionalism, integrity, and humanity.
The attached photograph from our visit to the DPI (EE) Office last year remains a cherished memory and reflects the warmth and respect with which she welcomed everyone. Her encouraging words, gentle demeanor, and visionary leadership left a lasting impression on all of us.
Today, the Education Department has lost a devoted leader, and we have lost a wonderful soul whose legacy of service and kindness will continue to inspire generations.
May Almighty Allah grant Madam Shahida Sohail the highest place in Jannat-ul-Firdous, forgive her shortcomings, and give strength and patience to her bereaved family, colleagues, and all those who mourn this irreparable loss.

آج 5 جون کو دنیا بھر میں اقوامِ متحدہ کے زیرِ اہتمام عالمی یومِ ماحولیات (World Environment Day) منایا جا رہا ہے۔ اس دن کا آغاز 1972ء میں ماحول کے تحفظ اور عوامی شعور کی بیداری کے لیے کیا گیا تھا، جبکہ سال 2026ء کی عالمی تقریبات کی میزبانی آذربائیجان کر رہا ہے۔
عالمی یومِ ماحولیات کا مقصد موسمیاتی تبدیلی، ماحولیاتی آلودگی، جنگلات کی کٹائی اور قدرتی وسائل کے بے دریغ استعمال جیسے سنگین مسائل کی جانب توجہ مبذول کروانا ہے۔ ایک صاف، سرسبز اور محفوظ ماحول ہماری آنے والی نسلوں کے بہتر مستقبل کی ضمانت ہے۔
ڈپٹی ڈسٹرکٹ ایجوکیشن آفس (W-EE) فتح جنگ تمام اساتذہ، طلبہ اور والدین سے اپیل کرتا ہے کہ وہ شجرکاری کو فروغ دیں، پلاسٹک کے استعمال میں کمی لائیں، پانی اور بجلی جیسے قدرتی وسائل کی بچت کریں اور ماحول دوست طرزِ زندگی اپنائیں۔
