This World Ocean Day, Green Society UAF Under Senior Tutor Office calls on everyone to come together to protect our waters and raise awareness for a cleaner, healthier planet.

Plastic pollution is one of the greatest environmental challenges of our time, but every positive change begins with small daily actions.

♻️ Bring Your Own Bags – Replace single-use plastic bags with reusable cloth or mesh bags.

🥤 Choose Reusable Bottles & Cups – Carry a refillable bottle or cup to reduce waste and save resources.

🍽️ Avoid Single-Use Plastics – Say no to plastic straws, cutlery, and disposable plates. Choose sustainable alternatives instead.

📦 Buy in Bulk – Reduce unnecessary packaging by purchasing in bulk and using reusable containers.

Together, we can create a cleaner, greener, and more sustainable campus and community. Every small step counts toward a plastic-free future! 💚

شدید گرمی صحت کے لیے خطرناک ثابت ہو سکتی ہے۔ خود کو اور اپنے پیاروں کو ہیٹ ویو سے محفوظ رکھنے کے لیے درج ذیل احتیاطی تدابیر پر عمل کریں:

💧 زیادہ پانی پئیں:
دن بھر وقفے وقفے سے پانی پیتے رہیں تاکہ جسم میں پانی کی کمی نہ ہو۔

☀️ دھوپ سے بچیں:
دوپہر 11 بجے سے 4 بجے تک غیر ضروری طور پر باہر نکلنے سے گریز کریں۔

🧢 مناسب لباس پہنیں:
ہلکے، ڈھیلے اور ہلکے رنگ کے کپڑوں کا انتخاب کریں۔

🏡 ٹھنڈی جگہ پر رہیں:
گرم، بند اور غیر ہوادار جگہوں سے دور رہیں اور سایہ دار ماحول کو ترجیح دیں۔

Share blessings, not plastic. Single-use bags create massive waste, but small swaps make a big difference:
Switch to reusable containers durable, washable, and ready for next year.
Opt for eco-friendly alternatives - biodegradable packaging, banana leaves, paper bags.
