*Revised Notification | HEC GRE/HAT Policy Deferred ⚠️*

اب HEC نے GRE/HAT General & Subject Test کو لازمی قرار دینے کا فیصلہ Fall 2026 کے بجائے Fall 2027 admissions سے نافذ کرنے کا اعلان کر دیا ہے۔
مختلف Universities اور DAIs کی درخواستوں پر implementation کیلئے مزید وقت دینے کا فیصلہ کیا گیا ہے۔
اس سے قبل جاری کردہ Notification کے مطابق MS/MPhil اور PhD admissions کیلئے ETC کے ذریعے GRE/HAT Test لازمی قرار دیا گیا تھا۔
_اب Fall 2026 admissions پرانے طریقہ کار کے مطابق ہوں گے جبکہ نئی پالیسی Fall 2027 سے لاگو ہوگی۔

🚨 IMPORTANT ALERT FOR BALOCHISTAN STUDENTS | UAF POSTGRADUATE ADMISSIONS FALL 2026 🚨
Great news for students from Balochistan aspiring to pursue higher education! The University of Agriculture, Faisalabad (UAF), in collaboration with the Balochistan Educational Council, has announced reserved seats for M.Sc. (Hons) Agriculture and M.Phil DVM for the academic session Fall 2026.
However, there is a major policy change this year that every applicant must know:
❌ No UAF Institutional Entry Test This Year!
As per the latest Higher Education Commission (HEC) directive, universities will no longer conduct their own individual entry tests. Admission to all MS/M.Phil programs will be strictly based on the centralized HEC Higher Education Aptitude Test (HAT). If you do not appear in the HEC HAT exam, you will not be eligible for UAF admissions.
📊 Seat Breakdown & Test Categories:
M.Sc. (Hons) Agriculture: 31 Reserved Seats (Requires HEC HAT-4 Test)
M.Phil DVM: 69 Reserved Seats (Requires HEC HAT-3 Test)
Note: Students are also highly encouraged to apply on Open Merit.

The collaborative *Study Circle* on _Nexus: A Brief History of Information Networks from the Stone Age to AI_ by Yuval Noah Harari was held successfully today at *Masha Allah Quetta Cafe*!

A huge thank you to our speaker *Advocate Azizullah Kakar* for his insightful talk on how information shapes history and power in the AI era. The session also included an engaging *Q&A session*, where participants raised great questions and had a thoughtful discussion with the speaker.

بہاؤالدین زکریا یونیورسٹی ملتان میں پشتون طلبہ کے خلاف آئے روز تشدد اور ہراسانی کے واقعات تشویشناک حد تک بڑھ چکے ہیں۔ گزشتہ دو دنوں کے دوران مسلسل پشتون طلبہ کو نشانہ بنایا گیا، جبکہ آج مسلح افراد کی جانب سے نہتے طلبہ پر فائرنگ کی گئی، جس کے نتیجے میں کئی طلبہ زخمی ہوئے۔

پشتون سٹوڈنٹس کونسل یونیورسٹی انتظامیہ اور پنجاب پولیس سے مطالبہ کرتی ہے کہ ان افسوسناک واقعات کا فوری نوٹس لیا جائے، ملوث عناصر کے خلاف سخت قانونی کارروائی عمل میں لائی جائے، اور تعلیمی اداروں میں اسلحہ کلچر، غنڈہ گردی اور مسلح گروہوں کا مکمل خاتمہ یقینی بنایا جائے۔

تعلیمی ادارے علم، امن اور رواداری کے مراکز ہوتے ہیں۔ طلبہ کو ایک محفوظ اور پُرامن ماحول فراہم کرنا ریاست اور انتظامیہ کی ذمہ داری ہے تاکہ وہ بلا خوف و خطر اپنی تعلیم جاری رکھ سکیں۔
