We are proud to share a success story from our own faculty.

Kosmo, a complete business and inventory management software, has been developed by Engr. Waqar Aziz, Lecturer at the Department of Electrical Engineering and Technology, as a faculty startup incubated at the Business Incubation Center, Government College University Faisalabad.

The story behind Kosmo is what makes it special. One of the largest suppliers of electronics repair items and PLCs in Faisalabad, with an annual transaction volume of around 50 million rupees, was running its entire operation on a single Excel file. Daily transactions, party ledgers, and bank records were all maintained by hand, copied from sheet to sheet every day.

Kosmo replaced that with a connected system. Information is entered once and flows automatically to inventory, party ledgers, and accounts.

What began as a simple inventory tracker has grown into a complete solution for traders and suppliers.

This is exactly the kind of impact our faculty and the Business Incubation Center aim to create: practical solutions to real problems faced by local businesses.

The Department of Electrical Engineering and Technology, Government College University Faisalabad successfully conducted Entry Test for B.E. Technology (Electrical) and BS Electrical Engineering.

The test was held in a well-organized, transparent, and disciplined environment, ensuring equal opportunity for all applicants.

The overall arrangements and smooth conduct of the Entry Test were supervised by Prof. Dr. Farhat Jabeen, Convener Admission Committee. Prof. Dr. Abdul Rauf Bhatti, Dean, Faculty of Engineering and Technology, and Dr. Kashif Nisar Paracha, Chairman, Department of Electrical Engineering and Technology, remained actively engaged throughout the process, monitoring the arrangements and ensuring the successful and transparent conduct of the examination.

The Department sincerely acknowledges the dedicated efforts of its faculty members, administrative staff, technical staff, and support staff, whose professionalism, teamwork, and commitment were instrumental in the successful organization of the Entry Test.
