We are proud to announce that Mr. Mujeeb ur Rehman from the Department of English Literature has successfully defended his PhD thesis, "Dedoxification of the Imperialist Rhetoric: A Critique of Contemporary War Fiction," and has been awarded his well-deserved doctorate!

We are thrilled to announce that Mr. Mujeeb ur Rehman from the Department of English Literature has successfully defended his PhD dissertation, "Dedoxification of the Imperialist Rhetoric: A Critique of Contemporary War Fiction," and has been awarded his doctorate!

The public defense took place on August 8th, 2025, in the Video Conference Room, Yousaf Block, GCUF. His research was meticulously supervised by Dr. Asma Aftab, with Dr. Sadia Akram as the internal examiner, and Prof. Dr. Ahsan Bashir (University of Education Lahore) and Prof. Dr. Muhammad Khan Saangi (University of Jamshoro, Sindh) as external examiners.
