📍 21 May 2026 – Lyallpur Business School, Government College University Faisalabad (GCUF)
Dr. Maryam Saleem delivered an insightful session on “Business Research Methods: Bridging Research and Industry Practice.” The lecture highlighted the significance of business research, key methodological approaches, and the role of research-based decision-making in addressing contemporary business challenges.

She conducted a seminar on “Research Process Essentials: From Proposal to Report,” covering the fundamental stages of the research process, from proposal development to report writing, with a focus on academic rigor and clarity.

🏆 BSAF Students Shine at All Pakistan Business Idea Competition

Making the day truly memorable, the students of BSAF not only actively participated in the All Pakistan Business Idea Competition held at Government Graduate College, Jaranwala, but also achieved remarkable success through their outstanding performance.

The talented students secured 2nd Position in the Policy Making Competition and 3rd Position in the Business Idea Competition, demonstrating their creativity, analytical skills, and innovative thinking.

These achievements were made possible under the visionary leadership of Prof. Dr. Muhammad Ashfaq, Dean Faculty of Management Studies, and the dedicated supervision, guidance, and mentorship of Ms. Fasiha Batool and Ms. Aroosa.

📍 Educational & Industrial Visit to Faisalabad Chamber of Commerce & Industry

The National Business School, The University of Faisalabad, organized an Educational and Industrial Visit for the students of BSAF 4th and 5th Semesters to the Faisalabad Chamber of Commerce & Industry (FCCI).

The visit was conducted under the supervision and guidance of Ms. Rimsha Shahid (BSAF Tour Focal Person), along with Ms. Fasiha Batool (Class Advisor) and the kind support of Dr. Imran Majeed.

The primary objective of the visit was to provide students with practical exposure to business operations, trade activities, entrepreneurship opportunities, and the vital role of chambers of commerce in promoting economic growth and development. The experience enabled students to bridge the gap between classroom learning and real-world business practices, offering valuable insights into the dynamics of the corporate and industrial sectors.

National Business School proudly organized an insightful study tour to ✈️ Faisalabad International Airport, providing students with an exceptional opportunity to experience the operational side of the aviation industry firsthand.
The visit was graciously hosted by Ms. Tasneem Akhtar Jameel, Airport Manager / Chief Operating Officer, along with her dedicated team.
Special interactive sessions were conducted by Mr. Noshairwan Javaid (Assistant Director Security) and Mrs. Bushra Habib (Deputy Director APS), who guided students through passenger processing and airport operations from check-in to boarding.
Mr. Salman Shahid (Deputy Director ATS) shared valuable insights into the airport’s history, operational performance, and future expansion plans, including the upcoming new international airport project in Faisalabad.
Students also attended an informative session by Mr. Tehseen (Station Manager Gerry'sDnata) on career pathways and opportunities within ground handling agencies across Pakistan.
The entire visit was efficiently facilitated by Mr. Muhammad Sher (Deputy Director HR).
This study tour served as a valuable learning experience, bridging classroom knowledge with real-world aviation operations and inspiring future aviation professionals.

The National Business School is pleased to share that the two-day training workshop on the role of the State Bank of Pakistan (SBP) in Pakistan’s economy, with particular focus on the formulation and implementation of monetary policy, proved to be highly informative and productive. The workshop was conducted through a series of well-structured sessions delivered by experienced professionals and experts from the State Bank of Pakistan. The training provided valuable insights into the objectives of monetary policy, inflation management, interest rate determination, exchange rate stability, and the overall role of SBP in maintaining financial and economic stability in Pakistan. The sessions also highlighted the functioning of the banking system, policy decision-making processes, and contemporary economic challenges faced by the country.

Dr. Samra Subhani, along with her team members Ms. Safa Iftikhar, Ms. Rimsha Shahid, Ms. Sidra Ghulam Muhammad, Miss Hira Shafqat, and Dr. Muhammad Rizwan, actively participated in the workshop through question-and-answer sessions, group discussions, and presentations related to practical exercises, which further enhanced their understanding of the topics covered during the training. Overall, the training provided an excellent opportunity to strengthen understanding of Pakistan’s financial system and the role of SBP in economic management.

The Department of International Relations, National Business School, successfully organized a seminar on the topic “US-Iran Tensions and Pakistan’s Energy Security: Navigating the Crisis” in the NBS Auditorium, Amin Campus.

The seminar aimed to create awareness among students regarding the impact of rising tensions between the United States and Iran on global oil markets, particularly due to instability in the Strait of Hormuz — a vital route for international energy trade. The session provided valuable insights into the challenges faced by Pakistan’s energy sector and highlighted the importance of strategic planning and policy responses in navigating regional and global energy crises.

The event served as an informative platform for students to enhance their understanding of contemporary international relations and energy security issues.
