An advisory session on "Regional Migration to Gulf Countries" was held at *Government College of Technology for Women (GCTW), Faisalabad* on *06.05.2026*. The session aimed to guide students on legal migration processes, employment opportunities, and challenges faced by workers in Gulf countries.
Final year students of DDM and DAE CIT attended, along with faculty members.
Giz counselors briefed students on visa procedures, skill requirements, cultural adaptation, and workers' rights in Gulf states. Students were made aware of safe migration practices, in-demand skills in Gulf markets, and documentation required for overseas jobs. Queries related to contracts, wages, and safety were also addressed.

An industrial visit of Fashion Designing and DOM students was conducted to The National Silk & Rayon Mills Ltd on 14 April 2026. The purpose of the visit was to provide practical exposure to textile manufacturing processes and digital printing.

During the visit, students were given a briefing about the company and its operations. They visited different departments including spinning, weaving, dyeing, and finishing. The staff explained the complete process of fabric production and demonstrated the use of modern machinery.

The visit was very informative and helped students understand the practical aspects of textile production. It also enhanced their knowledge about industrial working environments and career opportunities in the textile & digital field. TEVTA North Region
