The students of BS Anesthesia Technology successfully presented their physics-based projects related to anesthesia, demonstrating the practical application of physics concepts in clinical anesthesia practice.

These projects were formally submitted to Dr. Humaima Saeed, Faculty Coordinator, Medicine & Allied Health Sciences. The presentations reflected the students’ creativity, critical thinking, and understanding of how physics principles play a vital role in anesthesia equipment, patient monitoring, and perioperative care.

Kudos to our students for their dedication, and to the faculty for their continuous academic guidance and support.

The Department of Anesthesia commemorated World Anesthesia Day with an engaging and informative event that highlighted the importance of anesthesia in modern medicine. The celebration aimed to raise awareness about the vital role anesthesiologists and anesthesia professionals play in ensuring patient safety and comfort during surgical procedures.

Students enthusiastically participated by showcasing innovative project models, posters, and informative displays that demonstrated anesthesia techniques, equipment, and advancements in pain management. The interactive exhibition reflected their creativity, clinical understanding, and commitment to advancing medical knowledge.

The highlight of the event was an interactive hands-on workshop on airway management facilitated by Dr Muhammad Qasim Abdullah, Department of Anesthesia Technology, Madinah Teaching Hospital. Dr Qasim demonstrated key airway management techniques, offering participants valuable practical exposure.
Dr Nadia Bano, Head, Department of Anesthesia Technology, MTH, along with faculty members, also attended the session, encouraging students to pursue excellence in the field.
