​یونیورسٹی آف ایجوکیشن، فیصل آباد کیمپس کے لیے یہ ایک انتہائی مسرت اور اعزاز کا لمحہ تھا جب 16 مئی کو ترکی کی معروف مارمرا یونیورسٹی، استنبول کے ڈائریکٹر آف سوشل سائنسز پروفیسر ڈاکٹر عبد الحمید اور محترمہ مسز خدیجہ عبدالحمید نے فیصل آباد تشریف آوری فرمائی۔ اس موقع پر چناب کلب، فیصل آباد میں ایک پروقار عشائیے کا اہتمام کیا گیا، جہاں پروفیسر ڈاکٹر شاہد اقبال (پرنسپل، یونیورسٹی آف ایجوکیشن لاہور، فیصل آباد کیمپس) کے ہمراہ ان سے علم و دانش سے بھرپور ایک یادگار ملاقات رہی۔ اس علمی و ادبی محفل میں یونیورسٹی آف ایجوکیشن فیصل آباد کیمپس کی اسسٹنٹ پروفیسر اور ممتاز شاعرہ ڈاکٹر نازیہ پروین صاحبہ نے بھی خصوصی شرکت کی اور اپنے خوبصورت ادبی ذوق سے شام کو مزید رونق بخشی۔ ان کے علاوہ پروفیسر خلیل الرحمٰن (ڈائریکٹر آف سائنسز اینڈ مینجمنٹ، انٹرنیشنل رفاہ یونیورسٹی، فیصل آباد)، مسز آصفہ خلیل، محترم مقصود احمد صاحب (یو کے) اور محترم قیصر رشید صاحب بھی اس یادگار عشائیے کے معزز شرکاء میں شامل تھے۔

​During the meeting, both parties discussed the prospects of signing an official Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) aimed at engaging the university under the umbrella of the "𝟐𝟎,𝟎𝟎𝟎 𝐘𝐨𝐮𝐭𝐡 𝐂𝐚𝐩𝐚𝐜𝐢𝐭𝐲 𝐁𝐮𝐢𝐥𝐝𝐢𝐧𝐠 𝐈𝐧𝐢𝐭𝐢𝐚𝐭𝐢𝐯𝐞," focusing on Education, Employability, Engagement, and Environment. The discussion also highlighted the objectives of the 𝐀𝐂𝐓𝐈𝐕𝐄 𝐏𝐫𝐨𝐣𝐞𝐜𝐭, which aims to empower youth through civic engagement, leadership development, social cohesion, and inclusive community participation. In this regard, reference was made to the tripartite MoU signed between Bargad, Voluntary Service Overseas (VSO) Pakistan, and the Prime Minister’s Youth Programme to collectively strengthen youth engagement and volunteerism initiatives across Pakistan.
​Prof. Dr. Shahid Iqbal shared valuable insights regarding the university’s student demographics, geographical outreach, and the implementation of the 𝟐% 𝐪𝐮𝐨𝐭𝐚 𝐩𝐨𝐥𝐢𝐜𝐲 within the institution. He expressed a strong interest in establishing a formal partnership with Bargad to facilitate student enrollment in the 𝐍𝐚𝐭𝐢𝐨𝐧𝐚𝐥 𝐕𝐨𝐥𝐮𝐧𝐭𝐞𝐞𝐫 𝐂𝐨𝐫𝐩𝐬 and create meaningful opportunities for youth development and civic engagement.
