Today over 80 countries recognize it as a public holiday, with rallies, marches, and speeches highlighting workers' rights, fair wages, safe conditions, and social justice. While the United States and Canada mark Labor Day in September, May 1 remains the most widely recognized date internationally for celebrating the contributions of workers and advocating for labor reforms.
