French Language and Francophonie Week at UAF

The University of Agriculture, Faisalabad (UAF) proudly celebrated the French Language and Francophonie Week with an inspiring visit from Mr. Fabrice Disdier, Director of Alliance Française Lahore (AFL).

Mr. Disdier engaged with UAF students in a thought-provoking session where he highlighted the immense scholarship and study opportunities available in France, encouraging students to explore academic horizons beyond borders.

He also spoke passionately about the richness of the French language, its vibrant culture, and its distinguished literary heritage — underscoring the global significance of French as a language of science and the arts.

The event offered students a unique platform to connect with the Francophone world and discover pathways to international education.

The Department of Library in collaboration with the Institute of Business Management Sciences (IBMS) organized an exclusive session on "Digital Literacy in Business and Management" for the students.

Reflecting the Vice Chancellor's vision on digitalization, the students explored the e-resources accessible through the HEC Digital Library. Students learned advanced search strategies using academic databases to discover credible, current, and high-impact business literature.

This initiative marks a significant step toward nurturing research-driven business professionals who are equipped to transform information into insight and knowledge into strategy.
