On March 3, 2026, the Department of Electrical Technology conducted a successful educational visit to the 1500 KV Grid Station, WAPDA Scraps, Chishtian, Bahawalnagar.

The visit provided students with valuable hands-on exposure to power systems, grid operations, high-voltage equipment, and essential safety practices—effectively bridging classroom theory with real-world industrial application.

Students observed key components of grid infrastructure, learned about transmission and distribution mechanisms, and gained practical insight into the operational standards followed in large-scale power stations.

The Department of Civil Engineering, ILM College organized a One-day Surveying Camp on 11th February 2026.

During the camp, students gained practical exposure to conducting surveys on contour sites, where they measured:

📐 Angular measurements
📊 Level differences from ground surfaces

The hands-on field experience enhanced students’ technical skills and strengthened their understanding of real-world surveying practices beyond classroom learning.
