My name is _______ and my father is a professor of Linguistics at Jizan University
Saudi Arabia. I went to an Indian School where I met Indian, Syrian, Sudanese,
Egyptian, Ethiopian and Saudi students. The medium of instruction and
communication was English. In this learning atmosphere I polished my spoken skill
excellently as we talked, played and discussed everything in English. I passed my
primary Examination with flying colours. My father sent me to Pakistan when I was
in eighth grade because he wanted to make me familiarise with educational system
in Pakistan. At first I felt difficulty in understanding Urdu but soon I overcame this
hurdle. Now both Urdu and English are equally my favourite. I chew and taste both
the languages like chewing gum now. I passed my matriculation examination with
A+ grade.
Thanks Allah that I have passed my first year exam and waiting for the result of the
remaining part. I was a pre –medical student. My father has never thumped his
desire upon me to do this or that. He has always appreciated my choice and patted
me on shoulder to go ahead and achieve the aim. Law is my love and to study books
on law is my favourite passion. I love law because of its scientific and logical
approach. Cross questioning, reasoning, reference of Acts to prove viewpoint have
a magnetic appeal for me. Its rationalism and wisdom based on facts have attracted
me to become a lawyer. No idle man or woman can become a good lawyer because
it requires a head deep in books and witticism to play with words. At an
International level, a good lawyer can bring name and fame to his country as in the
recent case of Kulbushon Yadho. I hope I will translate my dreams into reality
Inshallah.
