*1950 سے 1999 میں پیدا ہونے والے ہم خوش نصیب لوگ ہیں.*
کیونکہ ہم وہ آخری لوگ ہیں
جنہوں نے مٹی کے بنے گھروں میں بیٹھ کر پریوں کی کہانیاں سنیں۔
ہم وہ آخری لوگ ہیں.
ہم وہ آخری لوگ ہیں
جنہوں نے لالٹین (بتی)کی روشنی میں کہانیاں بھی پڑھیں۔
جنہوں نے اپنے پیاروں کیلیئے اپنے احساسات کو خط میں لکھ کر بھیجا۔
ہم وہ آخری لوگ ہیں
جنہوں نے ٹاٹوں پر بیٹھ کر پڑھا۔بلکہ گھر سے بوری ، توڑا لے کر سکول جاتے اور اس پر بیٹھتے۔
ہم وہ آخری لوگ ہیں
جنہوں نے بیلوں کو ہل چلاتے دیکھا۔
ہم وہ آخری لوگ ہیں
جنہوں نے مٹی کے گھڑوں کا پانی پیا۔بغیر بجلی کے ٹیوب ویل دیکھے نہائے
گاؤں کے درخت سے آم اور امرود بھی توڑ کر کھائے.
پڑوس کے بزرگوں سے ڈانٹ بھی کھائی لیکن پلٹ کر کبھی بدمعاشی نہیں دکھائی.
ہم وہ آخری لوگ ہیں
جنہوں نے عید کا چاند دیکھ کر تالیاں بجائیں۔اور گھر والوں، دوستوں اور رشتہ داروں کے لیے عید کارڈ بھی اپنے ہاتھوں سے لکھ کر بهیجے.
ہمارے جیسا تو کوئی بھی نہیں کیونکہ
ہم وہ آخری لوگ ہیں
جو گاؤں کی ہر خوشی اور غم میں ایک دوسرے سے کندھے سے کندھا ملا کے کھڑے ہوئے.
ہم وہ لوگ ہیں جو گلے میں مفلر لٹکا کے خود کو بابو سمجھتے تھے۔
ہم وہ دلفریب لوگ ہیں
جنہوں نے شبنم اور ندیم کی ناکام محبت پہ آنسو بہائے اور انکل سرگم کو دیکھ کے خوش ہوئے ۔
ہم وہ آخری لوگ ہیں جنہوں نے ٹی وی کے انٹینے ٹھیک کیے فلم دیکھنے کے لیے ہفتہ بھر انتظار کرتے تھے
ہم وہ بہترین لوگ ہیں
جنہوں نے تختی لکھنے کی سیاہی گاڑھی کی۔ جنہوں نے سکول کی گھنٹی بجانے کو اعزاز سمجھا۔
ہم وہ خوش نصیب لوگ ہیں
جنہوں نے رشتوں کی اصل مٹھاس دیکھی۔ ہمارے جیسا تو کوئی بھی نہیں۔
ہم وہ لوگ ہیں جو۔
رات کو چارپائی گھر سے باہر لے جا کر کھلی فضاء زمینوں میں سوئے دن کو اکثر گاؤں والے گرمیوں میں ایک درخت کے نیچے بیٹھ کر گپیں لگاتے مگر وہ آخری ہم تھے۔
کبھی وہ بھی زمانے تھے
سب صحن میں سوتے تھے
گرم مٹی پر پانی کا
چھڑکاؤ ہوتا تھا
ایک سٹینڈ والا پنکھا
بھی ہوتا تھا
لڑنا جھگڑنا سب کا
اس بات پر ہوتا تھا
کہ پنکھے کے سامنے
کس کی منجی نے ہونا تھا
سورجُ کے نکلتے ہی
آنکھ سب کی کھلتی تھی
ڈھیٹ بن کر پھر بھی
سب ہی سوئے رہتے تھے
وہ آدھی رات کو کبھی
بارش جو آتی تھی
پھر اگلے دن بھی منجی
گیلی ہی رہتی تھی
وہ صحن میں سونے کے
سب دور ہی بیت گئے
منجیاں بھی ٹوٹ گئیں
رشتے بھی چھوٹ گئے
بہت خوبصورت خالص رشتوں کا دور لوگ کم پڑھے لکھے اور مخلص ہوتے تھے اب زمانہ پڑھ لکھ گیا تو بے مروت مفادات اور خود غرضی میں کھو گیا۔

کیا زبردست پڑھا لکھا مگر دراصل بے حس زمانہ آ گیا۔
