🦴 میڈیکل آگاہی پیغام
یہ مسئلہ اچانک 50 سال کی عمر میں شروع نہیں ہوتا، بلکہ اس کی بنیاد بچپن میں پڑتی ہے۔
ہڈیوں کی زیادہ سے زیادہ مضبوطی (Peak Bone Mass) تقریباً 25 سال کی عمر سے پہلے بن جاتی ہے۔
اس کے بعد انسان زیادہ تر وہی برقرار رکھتا ہے جو وہ بچپن اور جوانی میں بنا چکا ہوتا ہے۔
اگر بچپن کمزور ہو، تو مستقبل بھی کمزور ہو جاتا ہے۔
ایک بڑی غلط فہمی یہ ہے کہ:
"صرف دودھ پینا ہی مضبوط ہڈیوں کے لیے کافی ہے۔"
حالانکہ حقیقت یہ ہے کہ ہڈیوں کو صرف کیلشیم نہیں، بلکہ ان چیزوں کی بھی ضرورت ہوتی ہے:
• جسمانی حرکت اور کھیل کود
• دھوپ سے حاصل ہونے والا وٹامن D
• مناسب پروٹین
• طاقت بڑھانے والی جسمانی سرگرمیاں
آج کے بچوں کا طرزِ زندگی تشویشناک حد تک بدل چکا ہے:
• زیادہ اسکرین ٹائم
• کم دھوپ
• نہ ہونے کے برابر جسمانی سرگرمی
یہ تمام عوامل آہستہ آہستہ ہڈیوں کو کمزور کرتے رہتے ہیں۔
