It is with great please announced that Mr. Saddam Hussain and Mr. Zia Mohiuddin, Department of Electronics Engineering, The University of Chakwal have secured Runner-Up Position in Namal Tech Expo 2026, demonstrating strong technical capability, practical implementation, and effective teamwork. The project was “IoT-Based Smart Fire Detection and Suppression System with Hybrid Control.” The system actively monitors environmental conditions using temperature and gas sensors, enables real-time IoT-based monitoring, and autonomously responds to fire hazards by activating a water pump with directional control through a servo mechanism. In addition, it incorporates a manual override feature to enhance operational safety and user control.

Important Notice Regarding the Entry Test for Admission at Electronics Engineering Department, University of Chakwal:

All students are hereby informed that *if you have not appeared in ECAT* , then the NAT by NTS is also applicable. It is not mandatory to appear in the test before admission. *The Electronics Engineering Department, University of Chakwal, provides an opportunity for the students to appear in any upcoming NAT (conducted by NTS) and submit the result before the final exams of the first semester.* This result will be considered valid, as student's data is submitted to Pakistan Engineering Council (PEC) by the end of the first semester.
