A child’s future is increasingly shaped by access to education, technology, and digital opportunities. Yet, an estimated 1.3 billion school-age children still lack internet access at home, creating a significant barrier to digital learning and the opportunities offered by AI and technology.

As an educator, I believe technology and AI can be powerful tools for inclusion, learning, and empowerment—but only when every child has the opportunity to access and benefit from them.

We cannot build an inclusive digital future while millions of children are being left behind.

yesterday ,I attended the Parent-Teacher Meeting at ZWEE Foundation and had meaningful conversations with mothers about their children’s education, progress, and everyday learning.

Meeting parents and hearing their thoughts is always valuable to me. Their involvement, trust, and encouragement play an important role in helping our children learn, grow, and build a brighter future.

During my time in Ukraine as a member of the International Jury of the Global Teacher Prize, I met teachers who continued teaching children despite war, sirens, separation, and unimaginable challenges.

Their courage reminded me that war does not only destroy buildings—it disrupts childhood and changes the dreams of a generation.

As a Global Teacher Prize Laureate and Global Ambassador for Teachers, my message is simple: choose dialogue over destruction, hope over hatred, and peace over war.

Children should not inherit our conflicts. They deserve to inherit peace. 🕊️

As a Global Teacher Prize 2023 Laureate, Pakistani Educationist, Child Rights Advocate, and Women’s Rights Advocate, I remain committed to education, empowerment, and creating opportunities for those who need them most.

I am deeply honored to be the only person to have received both the Lynn Syms Prize and the Global Teacher Prize. These recognitions represent not only my journey, but the lives and communities we continue to serve.
