World Day Against Child Labour — 12 June
On this World Day Against Child Labour, the Literary Society, Department of English, University of Buner stands in solidarity with children around the world who are deprived of their basic rights, education, and a joyful childhood due to child labour.
Every child deserves the opportunity to learn, dream, and grow in a safe and supportive environment. Education is not only a right but also a powerful tool to break the cycle of poverty and exploitation. We must work together as a society to ensure that no child is forced into labour and that every child gets the chance to build a brighter future.
Let us raise our voices for a world where classrooms replace workplaces, books replace burdens, and every child enjoys the freedom to learn and flourish.
Say no to child labour. Say yes to education and hope.
