گزشتہ چند برسوں سے یہ رجحان تیزی سے بڑھ رہا ہے کہ جماعت دہم کے طلبہ اپنے الوداعی دن پر کتابیں پھاڑ کر خوشی کا اظہار کرتے ہیں۔
بظاہر یہ ایک “یادگار لمحہ” لگتا ہے، مگر اگر ہم تھوڑا سا غور کریں تو یہ عمل نہ صرف غیر مہذب ہے بلکہ کئی پہلوؤں سے نقصان دہ بھی ہے۔
یہ کتابیں محض کاغذ کے ٹکڑے نہیں بلکہ آپ کے والدین کی محنت کی کمائی اور اساتذہ کی محنت کا نچوڑ ہیں۔
انہی کتابوں نے آپ کو علم دیا، امتحان میں کامیاب کروایا، اور آگے بڑھنے کا راستہ دکھایا۔
ہمارے معاشرے میں ابھی بھی ایسے بے شمار طلبہ ہیں جو نئی کتابیں خریدنے کی استطاعت نہیں رکھتے۔ آپ کی یہی کتابیں ان کے کام آ سکتی ہیں۔
سوچیں! اگر ایک استاد آپ کو کتاب پھاڑتے دیکھے تو اس کے دل پر کیا گزرے گی؟
وہی استاد جس نے دن رات محنت کر کے آپ کو پڑھایا، کیا یہ اس محنت کا صلہ ہے؟

بہتر متبادل کیا ہے
آپ ضرور خوشی منائیں، مگر وقار کے ساتھ۔ کتابیں مستحق جونیئرز یا ضرورت مند طلبہ کو تحفے میں دیں۔ الوداعی دن کو دعاؤں، یادوں اور احترام کے ساتھ یادگار بنائیں
اصل تعلیم صرف کتابوں میں نہیں، بلکہ رویوں میں بھی نظر آتی ہے۔

آئیں! ہم یہ عہد کریں کہ ہم خوشی کو تہذیب کے ساتھ جوڑیں گے، اور ایک مثبت روایت کو فروغ دیں گے۔

کتاب کا احترام کی دراصل علم کا احترام ہے اور علم ہی انسان کو عظیم بناتا ہے
