تعلیم کی تکمیل کے بعد ڈاکٹر صاحب نے ایک سال تک گورنمنٹ کالج کلورکوٹ میں بطور لیکچرر (CTI) کی حیثیت سے تدریسی خدمات انجام دیں۔ بعد ازاں آپ نے دو سال Punjab Daanish Schools and Centers of Excellence Authority (PDS&CEA) میں بطور لیکچرار خدمات سرانجام دیں، جہاں تدریسی ذمہ داریوں کے ساتھ طلبہ کی علمی، فکری اور اخلاقی تربیت میں بھی نمایاں کردار ادا کیا۔ اس کے بعد آپ School Education Department (SED) سے وابستہ ہوئے، جہاں تدریس کے ساتھ ساتھ مختلف اہم انتظامی شعبہ جات میں کلیدی ذمہ داریاں نہایت خوش اسلوبی سے نبھائیں۔

اعلیٰ تعلیم کے شعبے میں بھی ڈاکٹر محمد زبیر حسن کی خدمات نمایاں ہیں۔ آپ University of the Punjab کے شیخ زاید اسلامک سینٹر، انسٹیٹیوٹ آف ایجوکیشن اینڈ ریسرچ (IER) اور ڈیپارٹمنٹ آف سوشل ورک میں بطور وزٹنگ فیکلٹی خدمات انجام دیتے رہے، جہاں آپ نے اسلامیات سمیت مختلف علمی و تحقیقی مضامین کی تدریس کی۔ ۔ علاوہ ازیں، شیخ زاید اسلامک سینٹر میں آپ نے BS پروگرام کے Viva Voce میں Subject Expert اور Committee Member کی حیثیت سے خدمات سرانجام دیں، جہاں آپ طلبہ کے علمی معیار کے جائزے، زبانی امتحانات اور تعلیمی تشخیص کے عمل میں اپنی پیشہ ورانہ مہارت کا مظاہرہ کرتے رہے۔

تحقیقی و تصنیفی میدان میں ڈاکٹر محمد زبیر حسن کی خدمات نہایت اہمیت کی حامل ہیں۔ آپ کے چھ تحقیقی مقالات ہائر ایجوکیشن کمیشن (HEC) کی منظور شدہ X اور Y کیٹیگری کے معیاری تحقیقی جرائد میں شائع ہو چکے ہیں۔ علاوہ ازیں، آپ نے دیگر ممتاز اہلِ علم کے اشتراک سے "اسلام اور سائنس" کے عنوان سے ایک علمی کتاب بھی تصنیف کی ہے، جو اسلامی فکر اور جدید سائنسی مباحث کے باہمی تعلق کو اجاگر کرتی ہے۔

آپ کا ایم فل تحقیقی مقالہ "قیامِ امن کے لیے اقدامات: شریعتِ اسلامیہ کی روشنی میں" (Peacebuilding Initiatives in the Light of Islamic Shariah) اور پی ایچ ڈی کا تحقیقی مقالہ "پاکستان میں شدت پسندی کے داخلی اور خارجی عوامل: ایک تنقیدی جائزہ" (Internal and External Factors of Extremism in Pakistan: A Critical Analysis) عصرِ حاضر کے اہم سماجی و فکری مسائل پر آپ کی گہری علمی بصیرت اور تحقیقی مہارت کی عکاسی کرتے ہیں۔

The Department of Economics successfully conducted its Second Board of Studies (BoS) meeting, marking an important milestone in the academic development, curriculum enhancement, research promotion, and expansion of the Department's academic programs.

The meeting focused on strengthening academic standards and ensuring that the Department's programs remain aligned with HEC guidelines, contemporary economic developments, digital transformation, professional requirements, and national and international trends in higher education.

The meeting comprehensively discussed several important academic and institutional matters, including:

Adoption of HEC-approved course outlines and schemes of studies.
-Launch of the BS Digital Economics program in response to emerging trends in digital economies, fintech, digital markets, data-driven decision-making, and technological transformation.
Development of the PhD Economics program through collaboration with relevant professional bodies, academic institutions, and other stakeholders.
-Engagement of eligible academicians and professionals as Adjunct Faculty to enhance teaching, research, professional exposure, and practical learning opportunities.

Successful Completion of EOTO Final Assessment – Roshan Pakistan Program
The Department of Education, Thal University Bhakkar, successfully conducted the Final Assessment of the Each One Teach One (EOTO) Project under the Roshan Pakistan Program on 20 August 2026, in coordination with the National Commission for Human Development (NCHD).
The assessment was organized with the active participation and presence of NCHD officials, who contributed to the monitoring, facilitation, and verification of learners throughout the assessment process. The successful conduct of this important activity reflects the strong commitment of Thal University Bhakkar towards community engagement, literacy promotion, and the practical implementation of educational initiatives.
The event was organized by the Focal Person EOTO, Dr. Farah Fida, Department of Education, with the kind support and cooperation of Sir Sajawal and his department, whose valuable assistance played an important role in ensuring the smooth and organized conduct of the assessment.
The entire activity was carried out under the kind supervision and visionary leadership of the Worthy Vice Chancellor, Prof. Dr. Saeed Ahmad Buzdar, whose continued support and encouragement provided an enabling environment for the successful implementation of the EOTO initiative.
Students from various academic disciplines participated in the final assessment along with their assigned learners. The face-to-face assessment provided an opportunity to evaluate the learners' progress and to acknowledge the efforts of students who actively contributed to the literacy initiative.
The Department of Education extends its sincere appreciation to the NCHD officials, university administration, faculty members, participating students, learners, and all supporting staff for their cooperation, dedication, and commitment.
The successful completion of the EOTO Final Assessment is a significant milestone in strengthening the university's role in community service and promoting literacy at the grassroots level.
