Glimpses from yesterday’s Research Conference held at KGMC, where our students actively participated and represented Bannu Medical College with great enthusiasm. BMC is really proud of their dedication, passion, and commitment to learning !!

The Student Research Council, Bannu Medical College, organized a workshop on “Beginner’s Guide to Research” to help students learn the basics of research. The session was led by President SRC Umair Ul Haq, whose dedication and efforts in guiding fellow students are truly commendable. The workshop was held under the supervision of Chairman SRC, Prof. Dr. Muhammad Shoaib. We were honored by the presence of Chief Guest Dean Dr. Sana Ullah and Prof. Dr. Riffat Ullah, whose support added great value to the occasion.

Subject: Highlights from SRC Cabinet Meeting
1. Cabinet Extension:
The SRC cabinet will be extended to enhance the efficiency and reach of our activities.
2. Research Conference Criteria:
Clear guidelines will be established for participation in research conferences at other
institutions. These include policies on transport, funding, and registration. Students
interested in attending any conference must first submit their abstracts to the SRC office.
The Chairman will review and approve abstracts prior to official registration.
3. Research Enthusiasts Group:
Dedicated WhatsApp groups will be created for students interested in research. These will
serve as platforms for discussion, queries, and academic exchange.
4. Workshops:
Regular workshops will be conducted to promote research culture. The President and Vice
President will soon share a schedule for upcoming sessions.
5. SRC Office:
A separate office for the Student Research Council is being arranged to streamline
operations and facilitate student interaction.
Participants of the Meeting:
The meeting was headed by President SRC, Umairulhaq. Other members in attendance
included Ahmad Kamal, Asif Iqbal, Asia Noor, Laiba Noor, Muhammad Sadeed, Taqwa
Faheem and Arsalan Khan.

Team Bannu Medical College presented their researches at Central Park Medical International Research Conference accredited by Royal college of physicians and surgeons Glasgow.
And proud moment for Bannu Medical College as Umair Ul Haq got Award of appreciation (cash prize of 10k) in oral presentation.Also, Abdul Latif got his well deserved certificate in Poster presentation.
We are thankful to associate dean research Prof Dr Muhammad Shoaib for supporting the students throughout.

Student Research Council Bannu Medical College hosted a successful workshop on "Effective Research Poster Presentation" conducted by Umair ul Haq, 3rd Year MBBS and GS SRC BMC, in the Conference Hall of the Administration Block on the 25th Of September 2024.The engaging session drew a packed audience of enthusiastic students, providing valuable insights and expertise on research presentation skills.

The workshop gained much positive feedback, demonstrating the Council commitment to fostering research excellence and scientific communication among its students.
