بیجنگ: چینی محققین کا کہنا ہے کہ کرونا وائرس کی سائنوویک ویکسین کی تیسری ڈوز ڈیلٹا کے خلاف مدافعتی نظام زیادہ طاقت ور بناتی ہے۔

چائنیز اکیڈمی آف سائنسز، فیورن یونیورسٹی، سائنوویک اور دیگر چینی اداروں کی اس تحقیق میں بتایا گیا ہے کہ سائنو ویک ویکسین کی تیسری ڈوز کرونا وائرس کی زیادہ متعدی قسم ڈیلٹا کے خلاف اینٹی باڈیز کی سطح میں کمی کو ریورس کر سکتی ہے۔

اس تحقیق سے عندیہ ملتا ہے کہ سائنوویک کی ویکسین کروناویک کی تیسری ڈوز کرونا کی زیادہ متعدی قسم کے خلاف طویل المعیاد مدافعتی ردعمل کے حصول میں مددگار ثابت ہوتی ہے، اس تحقیق کے مطابق سائنوویک کی کووڈ ویکسین کی تیسری ڈوز وائرس ناکارہ بنانے والی اینٹی باڈیز کی تعداد میں نمایاں حد تک اضافہ کر دیتی ہے۔

اس نئی تحقیق کے نتائج اس وقت سامنے آئے ہیں جب کرونا کی قسم ڈیلٹا دنیا بھر میں دیگر اقسام کو پیچھے چھوڑ چکی ہے اور ان ممالک میں بھی کیسز کا باعث بن رہی ہے جہاں ویکسینیشن کی شرح بہت زیادہ ہے۔ متعدد ممالک میں سائنوویک ویکسین پر بہت زیادہ انحصار کیا گیا ہے اور ان میں سے کچھ میں کروناویک استعمال کرنے والے افراد کو فائزر ویکسین کا بوسٹر ڈوز دینے پر بھی غور کیا جا رہا ہے۔

اس تحقیق میں بتایا گیا کہ سائنوویک کی 2 ڈوزز استعمال کرنے والے افراد کے نمونوں میں ڈیلٹا کے خلاف وائرس کو ناکارہ بنانے والی اینٹی باڈی سرگرمیوں کو دریافت نہیں کیا جا سکا۔ تاہم جن افراد کو ویکسین کی تیسری ڈوز استعمال کرائی گئی ان میں 4 ہفتوں بعد دوسری ڈوز استعمال کرنے کے 4 ہفتوں کے بعد کے مقابلے میں ڈیلٹا کے خلاف وائرس ناکارہ بنانے والی اینٹی باڈیز میں ڈھائی گنا اضافہ ہوا۔

اس لیبارٹری تحقیق میں 66 رضاکاروں کے نمونوں کی جانچ پڑتال کی گئی تھی جن میں سے 38 افراد کو ویکسین کی 2 یا 3 ڈوز استعمال کرائی گئی تھیں۔ اس تحقیق کے نتائج ابھی کسی طبی جریدے میں شائع نہیں ہوئے بلکہ پری پرنٹ سرور پر جاری کیے گئے۔

اس سے قبل اگست 2021 کے شروع میں بھی کمپنی کی جانب سے تیسری ڈوز کے اثرات کے حوالے سے ایک تحقیق کے نتائج جاری کیے گئے تھے۔ اس تحقیق میں معمر افراد کو ویکسین کی دوسری ڈوز کے استعمال کے 8 ماہ بعد بوسٹر ڈوز دیا گیا، جس سے ان میں وائرس کو ناکارہ بنانے والی اینٹی باڈیز میں نمایاں حد تک اضافہ ہوا۔
