Alhamdulillah by the grace of Allah SWT Institute of Business Management and Administrative Sciences (IBMAS) has achieved another milestone. National Business Education and Accreditation Council has granted accreditation to IBMAS under 'X' category for the period of three years.
This success could not have been possible without the unending support of Worthy Vice Chancellor. We the students and faculty of IBMAS are very grateful to Eng. Prof Dr. Athar Mahboob WVC for the contributions and continuous support. Without his support, we may never have been able to gain the success. This achievement is another step towards the fulfilment of quality education vision of WVC IUB.

Prime Minister's Ehsaas Scholarships Disbursement Ceremony

As many as 4140 students of the Islamia University of Bahawalpur received Prime Minister’s Ehsaas Scholarships worth Rs. 190 million. In this connection, a ceremony was held at Abbasia Campus participated by scholarship recipients, parents, faculty members and representatives of civil society. Engr. Prof. Dr. Athar Mahboob Vice Chancellor along with notables Malik Habib Ullah Bhutta and Syed Tabish Alwari disbursed scholarships among students. In his address, the Vice Chancellor said that thousands of students from across the country have benefit from this scheme and the Islamia University of Bahawalpur is one of the leading university availing this scholarships scheme. He said that nations are competing globally in socio economic sector and their progress and uplift will be determined by their performance in higher education sector. The government has timely focused on higher education sector and launched scholarship assistance scheme which will ultimately boost socio economic progress of the country. He said that due to recent developments in the university, the IUB has become first choice of the students who will avail excellence in education through this higher education institution.
