A group of DAE Electronics 2nd and 3rd-year students visited Jatala Cotton Factory to observe the installation of a 400kW solar power system. During the visit, students were introduced to various components of the system, including photovoltaic panels, inverters, and their integration into the factory’s power grid. Mr. Engr Jaffer Qurashi, Director Critical Solar Technologies provided detailed explanations on the installation process, safety protocols, and the benefits of solar energy for industrial use. The visit offered the students valuable hands-on experience and insight into renewable energy systems, reinforcing the importance of sustainability in the modern industry.

The first-year students gathered in Basic Electronics Lab, their faces filled with a mix of excitement and nervousness. It was their first day, and the orientation session was about to begin.
The principal, Engr. Muhammad Akram with a warm smile, welcomed everyone. "Congratulations on joining our college," he said. "You’re beginning an important chapter in your life, and we are here to support you every step of the way."

Next, the Head of the Department (HOD), Engr. Tauqeer Muhammad spoke. "This is a place of learning and growth," they said. "Embrace the challenges, and remember that your teachers are here to guide you."

Finally, Engr. Shehzad Haneef, a respected faculty member, took the stage. "You are now part of a vibrant community," he said. "Your journey will be filled with opportunities to learn and innovate. Stay curious, work hard, and don’t be afraid to ask questions."

He also introduced all teachers and other staff members with students.

His words left the students inspired and ready to start their academic journey. The session ended with applause, and the students walked out with a sense of excitement for the path ahead
