The Virtual University Bahawalpur Campus recently hosted a seminar in collaboration with the Punjab Food Authority, shedding light on the importance of a balanced diet, especially for our students.
Miss Qandeel Ashraf, Nutrition Officer of the Punjab Food Authority, graced the event with an enlightening presentation, emphasizing the need for a mindful evaluation of our eating habits. She guided students on how a well-rounded diet contributes to a robust immune system, lowering susceptibility to illnesses and ensuring that our students stay healthy throughout their academic journey. Essential nutrients play a pivotal role in physical growth and mental development, which is a critical factor in the formative years of our students.
Dr. Saima Mustafa and Dr. Muhammad Azam from the Department of Biological Sciences graced the occasion with their presence and encouraged the management to organize more future sessions focused on students' health benefits.
To culminate this enriching event, souvenirs, and certificates were distributed to the keynote speakers and all participating students.
