​The Department of Poultry Science at CUVAS recently hosted a distinguished farewell ceremony to celebrate the professional journey of Dr. Muhammad Tahir Khan, as he transitions to his new role as Assistant Professor at the University of Layyah.

The ceremony was held under the esteemed patronage of Prof. Dr. Faiz ul Hassan, Dean of the Faculty of Animal Production and Technology (FAPT). We extend our deepest gratitude for his continued commitment to fostering a high-caliber academic environment that empowers faculty growth and elevates our institutional prestige.

Coordinated by Mr. Muhammad Arslan (Officer In-Charge), Ms. Tahreem Asad, and Mr. M. Azhar, the event showcased the professional standards and collaborative spirit of our department. It was an honor to have the collective participation of the entire FAPT faculty, standing together in support of our colleague’s success.

While we will miss his contributions, we are incredibly proud of his achievement. We wish Dr. Tahir immense success as he embarks on this exciting new chapter in Layyah!

During the NAEAC accreditation visit to the Department of Poultry Science, CUVAS, the Officer In-Charge presented the department’s “Wall of Pride” to the respected NAEAC delegates. The initiative was highly appreciated by the evaluation team, who remarked that they were seeing such a concept for the first time and described it as truly astonishing.

The Wall of Pride reflects our commitment to recognizing student achievements, academic excellence, and professional growth. Moments like these reaffirm our dedication to quality education and innovation.

The team reviewed academic programs, laboratories, research facilities, and poultry farm operations, and interacted with faculty and students.

The visit was graced by Dean FAPT, Prof. Dr. Faiz ul Hassan. The Officer In-Charge, Department of Poultry Science, also welcomed the NAEAC team and highlighted the department’s ongoing commitment to academic excellence, quality assurance, and continuous improvement.
