The Orientation Ceremony at the Faculty of Veterinary and Animal Sciences, organized by the Veterinary and Animal Science Students Society, is a significant annual event that serves as a warm welcome to the newcomers. The ceremony is graced by the presence of esteemed individuals, including the Dean of the Faculty, Chairpersons of various departments, and dedicated teachers.
The ceremony begins with a warm welcome from the Prof. Dr. Khalid Mansoor, Dean Faculty of Veterinary & Animal Sciences; Dr. Naeem Tahir, Deputy Director of Student Affairs (DDSA) of FV&AS, and Dr. Abdul Qayum, Chairmen of Department of Clinical and Medicine Surgery and also Controller Examination, And Dr. Kinza Khan who collectively introduce the students to the faculty's rules, regulations, and available facilities. This introduction is invaluable in helping the newcomers acclimate to their academic journey.
In a spirit of camaraderie, the ceremony concludes with a delightful touch. Refreshments are served, allowing students and faculty members to mingle and create connections beyond the classroom. Moreover, gifts are distributed among all new students enrolled in programs such as DVM, BS Microbiology, and BS Animal Sciences, adding a sense of celebration to this informative and welcoming event.
