State Bank Bahawalpur is celebrating Pakistan Financial Literacy Week (PFLW) from April 14th to 18th, 2025, to enhance financial literacy in the region. During this week, a variety of activities, including Financial Literacy Bank Camps, Competitions, Events, and Awareness Walk, will be organized in collaboration with local schools and universities.

Cholistan University of Veterinary & Animal Sciences (CUVAS) took a significant step towards supporting the educational journey of its students, as Vice Chancellor Prof. Dr. Muhammad Mazhar Ayaz distributed cheques among the Ihsan Trust scholarship recipients.

The ceremony, held at the university campus, aimed to recognize and reward the academic achievements of deserving students. Prof. Dr. Muhammad Mazhar Ayaz encouraged the students to continue excelling in their studies and motivated them to contribute towards the economic prosperity of Pakistan.

The event was attended by esteemed University officials, including Dr. Saleh Nawaz Khan, Focal Person for Ihsan Trust; Dr. Faisal Siddiqui, Registrar CUVAS; Dr. Muhammad Naeem Shahid, Manager Business Incubation Center; and Mr. Waqas Ashraf, Estate Officer.

This initiative is a testament to CUVAS's commitment to providing opportunities for students to succeed and making quality education accessible to all.

*Convocation Update*

Dear Students,

You are once again informed that:

Convocation Rehearsal: 12-02-2025 (Mandatory)
Main Convocation Event: 13-02-2025 (Mandatory)
Important Instructions:

*Entry Pass & Identification:*
Your entry pass (online) will mention your seat number.
Bring a printed copy of your entry pass.
Carry both your original CNIC and a photocopy for verification.

*Transport & Venue:*
The transport schedule is available on the university website under the "Convocation" tab.
All students must assemble at the lawn opposite the Admin Block by 8:20 AM.
Verification booths will check entry passes before proceeding.

*Convocation Gown Rental:*
Gowns will be available for rent after verification.
A refundable security deposit of Rs. 2,000 per gown is required.
The rental fee is Rs. 350 per gown.

Gowns must be returned after the convocation to get the security deposit refunded.

Entry passes will be available online tomorrow, and you will be notified accordingly

Cholistan University Of Veterinary and Animal science Bahawalpur Signs Multiple MOUs to Foster Industry-Academia Linkages

Today Prof. Dr. Muhammad Mazhar Ayaz, Vice Chancellor, Cholistan University of Veterinary and Animal Sciences, Bahawalpur (CUVAS), signed several Memoranda of Understanding (MOUs) with esteemed organizations to establish robust industry-academia linkages.

The first MOU was signed with Thal University, Bhakkar, represented by Vice Chancellor Prof. Dr. Saeed Ahmed Buzdar. This partnership aims to promote collaborative research, faculty exchange, and student development programs.

Additionally, CUVAS signed MOUs with prominent local businesses, including Bahawalpur Productions, Pizza Logist, Mobi Paints, Dunya Consultants, Digital IT Dreams Pvt. Ltd. and Ilhaam Bahawalpur. These partnerships will facilitate internship opportunities, joint research projects, and knowledge sharing between academia and industry.

The signing of these MOUs marks a significant milestone in CUVAS's efforts to bridge the gap between academia and industry. By fostering these partnerships, the university aims to provide its students with practical exposure, enhance research collaborations, and contribute to the economic development of the region.
