"اے ایمان والو! جب جمعہ کے دن نماز کے لیے اذان دی جائے تو اللہ کے ذکر کی طرف دوڑو۔"

"O you who have believed, when the call is proclaimed for the prayer on Friday, hasten to the remembrance of Allah."
(Surah Al-Jumu‘ah: 9)

The beauty of Qur'an recitation is enhanced when every rule of Tajweed is observed correctly. Madd Muttasil (مد متصل) is one of the important rules of Madd that occurs when a Madd letter (ا، و، ی) is followed by a Hamzah (ء) within the same word.

مد متصل تجوید کا ایک اہم اصول ہے۔ جب کسی ایک ہی لفظ میں حرفِ مد (ا، و، ی) کے فوراً بعد ہمزہ (ء) آجائے تو مد کو معمول سے زیادہ کھینچا جاتا ہے۔ حفص کی روایت میں اسے عموماً 4 یا 5 حرکات تک پڑھا جاتا ہے، جبکہ بعض قراءتوں میں 6 حرکات تک بھی پڑھا جاتا ہے۔

The beauty of Qur'an recitation lies in observing the rules of Tajweed with precision. Madd Munfasil (مد منفصل) is one of the important rules of Madd that occurs when a Madd letter (ا، و، ی) appears at the end of one word and a Hamzah (ء) comes at the beginning of the next word.

مد منفصل تجوید کا ایک اہم اصول ہے۔ جب کسی لفظ کے آخر میں حرفِ مد (ا، و، ی) ہو اور اگلے لفظ کے آغاز میں ہمزہ (ء) آئے تو اس مد کو عام مد سے زیادہ کھینچا جاتا ہے۔ حفص کی روایت میں اسے عموماً 4 یا 5 حرکات تک پڑھا جاتا ہے۔

The beauty of Qur'an recitation lies in giving every letter its due right. Izhar Shafawi (اظہار شفوی) is one of the important rules of Meem Sakinah that teaches us to pronounce the Meem clearly and distinctly without merging or concealing it.

اظہار شفوی تجوید کا ایک اہم اصول ہے۔ جب میم ساکن (مْ) کے بعد باء (ب) اور میم (م) کے علاوہ کوئی بھی حرف آئے تو میم کو واضح اور مکمل طور پر ادا کیا جاتا ہے۔ نہ اس میں ادغام کیا جاتا ہے اور نہ ہی اخفاء، بلکہ میم اپنی اصل آواز کے ساتھ پڑھی جاتی ہے۔

Reciting the Holy Qur’an with proper Tajweed enhances both its beauty and accuracy. Idgham Shafawi (ادغام شفوی) is one of the important rules of Meem Sakinah that occurs when a Meem Sakin (مْ) is followed by another Meem (م). In this case, both letters are merged and recited with a clear Ghunnah (nasal sound).

ادغام شفوی تجوید کا ایک اہم اصول ہے۔ جب میم ساکن (مْ) کے بعد دوسرا میم (م) آئے تو دونوں میم ایک دوسرے میں ضم ہو جاتے ہیں اور غنہ کے ساتھ پڑھے جاتے ہیں۔ اس اصول کی صحیح ادائیگی تلاوت میں روانی اور خوبصورتی پیدا کرتی ہے۔

اخفاء شفوی تجوید کا ایک اہم اصول ہے۔ جب میم ساکن (مْ) کے بعد باء (ب) آئے تو میم کو مکمل طور پر ظاہر نہیں کیا جاتا اور نہ ہی اگلے حرف میں ملایا جاتا ہے، بلکہ ہونٹ بند رکھتے ہوئے میم کی آواز کو مخفی انداز میں ادا کیا جاتا ہے۔
