A prestigious Sports Gala Awards Distribution Ceremony was held at Khawaja Fareed Campus, IUB, to honor the winners of the Annual Sports Gala 2025, organized between the BHMS and BEMS departments.
The ceremony was graced by the esteemed presence of Dean, Faculty of Pharmacy & Faculty of Medicine and Allied Health Sciences, Prof. Dr. Qaiser Jabeen, Head, Department of Homeopathic Medical Sciences, Dr. Laila Sumreen, and Principal, UCCM, Prof. Dr. Hafiz Muhammad Asif, along with the respected ISAs of both BHMS and BEMS departments.
Faculty members from both departments were also present. The honorable guests distributed trophies and appreciated the outstanding performance and sportsmanship of the students.

Remembering the Martyrs of 16 December 2014

16 December 2014 marks a tragic day in Pakistan’s history. The attack on Army Public School, Peshawar, claimed the lives of many innocent children and staff, leaving the nation in deep sorrow.

Today, we solemnly remember the brave souls who sacrificed their lives and honor their courage, resilience, and patriotism. Their sacrifice continues to inspire us to work for peace, unity, and a safer future for our nation.

The Department of Homeopathic Medical Sciences, successfully conducted a highly insightful seminar on 1st December titled “Future of Homeopath Success Unlocked.” The event was held at the Anatomy Hall, Khawaja Fareed Campus, providing an ideal academic environment for thoughtful discussion and learning.

The keynote address was delivered by Prof. Dr. Shifa Shafique, who presented an in-depth and forward-looking discussion on the global future of homeopathy, research-based practice, and upcoming opportunities for young homeopathic professionals. Her session was highly appreciated by students and faculty.

We were greatly honored by the presence of Prof. Dr. Qaiser Jabeen, Dean FM&AHS and Faculty of Pharmacy, whose academic vision, support, and encouragement strengthened the purpose of this seminar. Her guidance continues to inspire the department toward excellence.

Our distinguished guest Mr. Qamar-ul-Zaman, Deputy Director Student Affairs (DDSA), acknowledged the department’s consistent efforts toward student development and academic progress.

H/Dr Laila Sumreen, Incharge HMS Department, highlighted ongoing departmental initiatives, academic growth, and the emphasis on research culture within homeopathic education.

The seminar was effectively moderated by H/Dr Tayyeba Rehman, Lecturer HMS & ISA, ensuring smooth coordination and maintaining a professional and engaging flow throughout the event.

The session also included an interactive Questions & Answers segment, allowing students and faculty to actively engage with the speakers and clarify their queries regarding homeopathic practice and research opportunities.

The session was well-attended, productive, and enriching, offering students a clearer perspective on the evolving trends and challenges in homeopathic practice.

The department expresses heartfelt gratitude to all guests, speakers, organizers, and participants for contributing to the success of this academic event.
