Building a Healthier Campus, Together! 🌱✨
A massive success at The Islamia University of Bahawalpur! Today, the Department of Applied Psychology concluded an incredibly insightful International Symposium & Training Program on "Building Resilient Academic Communities & Effective Mental Health Practices."
We were honored to have our Vice Chancellor, Prof. Dr. Muhammad Kamran, and Dean of Faculty of Social Sciences, Prof. Dr. Rubina Bhatti, join us in championing this vital cause. Their presence highlights the importance of prioritizing mental well-being in the modern academic landscape.
Why it mattered:
🧠 Expert Perspectives: From global insights by Dr. Muhammad Iqbal Naeem (NHS, UK) to practical local leadership from Ms. Mubashra Tayyaba (YPA), the session was a masterclass in modern mental health.
🤝 Empowering Academia: We explored ways to bridge clinical practices with daily academic life, ensuring our community is resilient, supported, and heard.
🚀 Policy in Action: This marks a major milestone in implementing the IUB Mental Health Policy for a brighter, healthier future.
