As The Islamia University of Bahawalpur Pakistan completes a 100 splendid years of academic excellence and as the nation stands to celebrate Independence Day 2025, the IUB Character Building Society (CBS) proudly reflects upon five momentous years of social service, moral instruction and student led excellence. Founded in noble alignment with the vision of the university and in collaboration with the National Accountability Bureau (NAB), the Society has risen to a beacon of ethical leadership and civic virtue within the student body. Over the past five years, CBS has played a huge role in shaping the ethical consciousness of students through different activities, including anti-corruption seminars, awareness campaigns and youth leadership summits. CBS has represented The Islamia University of Bahawalpur on national platforms, making its presence felt across academic and social circles alike.

This journey would not have been possible without the support and visionary framework provided by Directorate of Student Affairs, The Islamia University of Bahawalpur. As an institution that has consistently upheld the values of knowledge, character and public service, IUB has created an environment where ideas are flourished, nurtured and empowered. The university’s century long legacy of excellence is not only reflected in its academic achievements but also in its commitment to shaping well rounded, socially responsible graduates.

Here’s to the incredible five year journey of the IUB Character Building Society

Dr. Muhammad Latif Malik, a dedicated member of the Advisory Board of the IUB Character Building Society in 2021 and 2022, played a pivotal role in motivating and guiding students. He is currently serving as an Assistant Professor in the Department of Agronomy and as the Principal Officer of Estate Care at The Islamia University of Bahawalpur.

Dr. M. Latif Malik is critically ill and undergoing treatment at CMH Rawalpindi. He is known for his kind-heartedness, sincerity, and highly respected character.

We earnestly request everyone to pray wholeheartedly for his complete and speedy recovery.
May Allah (SWT) bless him with perfect health and swift healing. Ameen.

Worthy Vice Chancellor, Prof. Dr. Muhammad Kamran inaugurated 3-Day Exhibition of Rare Artefacts & Photos in the Loving Memory of "Mohsin-e-Pakistan" on the ocassion of 59th Death Anniversary of H.H. Nawab Sir Sadiq Muhammad Khan Abbasi-V at Bahawalpur Museum.
Mr Saad Aslam Vice President II of the IUB-CBS was also present on the occasion.

The advisor of IUB Character Building Society along with other female faculty of The Islamia University of Bahawalpur Pakistan, participated in the rally to pay tribute to Pakistan Armed Forces and the martyrs of Bahawalpur.
