Kashmir Solidarity Day was celebrated on 5th of August 2019 at DPS,BWN in the observance of Pakistan’s support and unity with the people of occupied Kashmir, their ongoing freedom struggle, and to pay homage to Kashmiri martyrs who lost their lives fighting for Kashmir’s freedom.
Students presented speeches, songs and participated in a quiz to throw light on the present situation of Kashmir and prayed for their struggle to get fruitful. They also went out for the procession.

IQBAL DAY was organized and celebrated at DPS, BWN to pay tribute to Allama Iqbal, the “Poet of the East”. Urdu elocution and role play aimed at retaining our cultural identity and celebrating the contributions of the great poet.
Students participated enthusiastically and enthralling poems of Allama Iqbal were recited by them. And a thrilling speech has been delivered by worth Head.

Labour Day is an annual holiday to celebrate the achievements of workers. Labour Day has its origins in the labour union movement, specifically the eight-hour day movement, which advocated eight hours for work, eight hours for recreation, and eight hours for rest.
Labour Day is synonymous with, or linked with, International Workers' Day, which occurs on 1 May. Labour Day has been celebrated at DPS, BWN to appreciate the efforts of labourers and gifts have been distributed among them by the students and Revered Head. A special morning assembly in their honor has been conducted as well.

The students of DPS, BWN have visited the Civil Hospital to familiarize with some services offered such as Health Records, Theater, Laboratory, Dental and Accident and Emergency (A&E).
At the Health Record, the Head of Department explained the work of Health Records Department, which include serial arrangement of patient files in catalogue shelves, issuance of Death Certificate, providing statistic of the patients to the hospital Management and interpretation of bio-statistics.
The students later presented gifts to the sick Patients with Get Well Soon wishes at the various Wards of the Hospital.

It is one thing to be a Head, another thing to be a mentor but a completely different thing to be a leader. We are proud to be led by a great Head, mentor and manager like you. It really feels so amazing working in your positive environment. Working under your management is indeed a great opportunity for us.
