IUB Bahawalnagar Hosts Seminar on Radiology & Neurosurgery
BAHAWALNAGAR — December 3, 2025
On the vision of the worthy Vice Chancellor, Prof. Dr. Muhammad Kamran and the Dean, Faculty of Chemical and Biological Sciences, Prof. Dr. Abdul Rauf, the Department of Zoology, IUB Bahawalnagar Campus, in collaboration with Punjab MRI Diagnostic Center, Bahawalnagar, successfully conducted a seminar titled "The Role of Radiology & Neurosurgery in Contemporary Times".
The proceedings began with the recitation of the Holy Quran followed by Naat-e-Rasool (S.A.W). The session commenced with a welcome address by Dr. Abir Ishtiaq, who expressed gratitude to the medical experts for bridging the gap between academic zoology and clinical practice.
The technical session featured concise yet impactful talks. Dr. Haseeb Bhatti (HOD Radiology, DHQ Hospital, Bahawalnagar) and Dr. Muhammad Jahanzaib (Punjab Open MRI) highlighted the evolution of diagnostic imaging, while Dr. Noor-Ul-Ain (Incharge Neurosurgery, DHQ Hospital, Bahawalnagar) discussed the critical reliance of modern neurosurgery on advanced radiological tools.
The event was formally concluded by Dr. Rafaquat Ali (Director Campus), who thanked the collaborators and emphasized the need for continuous learning. The seminar ended with a distribution ceremony, where certificates were awarded to the guest speakers, the organizing committee, and the participating students.
