FGPS&C Bagh, Where Excellence Speaks; Another Feather in the Cap of FGPS&C Bagh AJ&K

Our talented students have once again proven that excellence is not a destination but a tradition at FGPS&C Bagh. In the Bagh Brain Storm Competition organized by Orion Education System, among hundreds of participants, 05 of our students proudly secured their place among the Top 15 achievers. Sanan Ahmad secured 9th position, while Parsa Mazhar, Aima Masoor, Mashel Shakeel and Muntazir Mehdi also stood among toppers.

This remarkable accomplishment is a true reflection of hard work, determination, and academic brilliance. FGHSS Bagh, A Journey to Joyland and Lake View That Turned into a Symphony of Memories

Some journeys are measured in miles; the most beautiful ones are measured in memories.

On Friday, 8th May 2026, the Grade 12 students of FG Public School & College Bagh ,accompanied by their teachers, set out on what seemed to be an ordinary trip, but by the end of the day, it had become a page worth bookmarking in the story of our lives. From laughter rolling through the school bus to smiles appearing at every turn, every mile brought a new memory and every stop added a new shade of joy.

Our journey led us to Lake View and Joyland, Islamabad, where excitement was in the air and happiness seemed contagious. We shared laughter, captured moments, and lived memories that will continue to echo long after the day itself. A delightful lunch at Savour added flavor to our adventure and made the experience even more enjoyable. Adding warmth to the journey, we had the pleasure of being graciously hosted by our former respected Principal, Sir Imran Ghani (at Muree), whose kindness and hospitality over tea made us feel truly welcomed and valued.

As the day slowly folded its wings and evening whispered its arrival, our final relaxing stop at Pak Kashmir Hotel, Kotli Sattian, gave us the chance to catch our breath and relive the day’s best moments.They say time flies when you are having fun; perhaps that is why this beautiful day passed in the blink of an eye. A few pictures are attached here, not merely as photographs, but as little pieces of time rescued from a day we would happily live all over again. 💞

FGPS&C Bagh continues to raise the bar and steal the spotlight with yet another feather in its cap.

Our brilliant student, Parsa Mazhar, secured the top position in IGNITE 2026 held at Govt. Boys Post Graduate College Bagh. In recognition of her outstanding performance, she has been awarded a laptop along with a two year scholarship.

Adding to this remarkable achievement, in another prestigious competition, Sanan Ahmad and Furqan Ahmad also made their mark by securing positions among the top performers in the Brain of Bagh Contest organized by Punjab College Bagh.

These splendid accomplishments speak volumes of the hard work, brilliance, and determination of our students, as well as the unwavering dedication of our teachers and the constant support of parents. A Penny Saved is a Penny Earned

A week ago, I visited a university hostel, and I was taken aback to eyewitness that many of the rooms had lights on while the doors outside were locked. This is just one example nonetheless hundreds of thousands such impetuous moves are being practiced on regular basis throughout the country. Usually when people quit their houses, offices, hostels or business places, they do not bother to switch off their electrical appliances, and consequently it costs them in miscellaneous ways.

There is a famous saying that a penny saved is a penny earned so our minuscule actions could enable us to save our individual as well as national pennies. Apart from saving pennies, it sets the seal on enhancing the lives of our electrical appliances along with reduction of carbon emission, leading to less production of greenhouse gases.

It is our religious as well as national obligation to turn the lights and other electrical appliances off while leaving residential, official or business places for more than 15 minutes. If every person shows responsibility, not only can we save personal and national capital, but we can also protect our planet and reap other benefits as well. Let us pledge that we would ensure this move at every tread in our lives.

From FGPS Bagh AJK to Civil Services (CSS) - A Journey of Dedication and Grace (Ahsan Azam)

We take great pride in celebrating Ahsan Azam, a shining star from FGPS Bagh, who has made his alma mater proud by successfully qualifying for the Central Superior Services (CSS) and earning allocation in the Inland Revenue Service.

Ahsan completed his matriculation from FGPS Bagh in 2017, today he returned to the same corridors; not as a student, but as an accomplished officer whose success speaks of perseverance, gratitude, and purpose. He expressed heartfelt appreciation for his teachers, recalling the wonderful lessons they delivered and the timeless values they instilled, which became stepping stones on his path to success.

His journey is a testament to the power of good teaching and determined learning, a story that reminds us that dreams take root in classrooms and blossom through hard work and faith.
