Topic:Choosing the Right Career After Matric

A Career Counseling Seminar was conducted for students to help them make informed decisions regarding their future educational and career pathways after Matric. The session focused on self-awareness, interests, skills, personality, aptitude, career options, and Holland’s RIASEC Career Theory. Students were introduced to various educational streams and emerging career fields, while also discussing common factors behind career confusion such as family expectations, peer influence, lack of awareness, and social media.
The seminar included interactive activities such as My Dream Career, RIASEC Quick Check, Career Options Mind Map, SWOT Analysis, Self-Reflection, and Goal Setting to encourage students to actively explore their strengths, interests, abilities, and career aspirations.
The session concluded by encouraging students to make informed and realistic career decisions based on their interests, abilities, personality, and future goals rather than simply following peer pressure or societal expectations. Students were also motivated to explore different career options, seek appropriate guidance, and develop a clear educational and career plan for their future.

A THRILLER TILL THE VERY END!

A highly competitive and exciting handball match was witnessed between Sir Syed House and Liaquat House, with both teams showcasing excellent skill, teamwork, determination, and true sportsmanship.
The score remained level at the end of regular time, leading to 5 minutes of extra time. Even after the additional time, neither team could break the deadlock. The match was ultimately decided through penalties, where Liaquat House emerged victorious by a narrow margin of 1 goal.

Liaquat House — 19
Sir Syed House — 18

6th September Defence Day was commemorated at Punjab Daanish School Boys Jand Attock with patriotic spirit and respect. Students presented speeches and Mili Songs, paying tribute to the courage and sacrifices of the Pakistan Armed Forces.

Students were encouraged to uphold discipline, hard work, integrity, and patriotism, and to play their role in the progress and betterment of Pakistan.

Tree Plantation Drive

A Tree Plantation Drive was organized at Punjab Daanish School Boys Jand, Attock on 30th August 2026 to promote environmental awareness and encourage students to play their part in creating a greener and healthier environment.

Students took part actively and enthusiastically, planting saplings across the school premises. The activity gave them a hands-on opportunity to learn about the importance of trees and their role in protecting our environment.

The drive was a positive step towards developing a sense of responsibility, care for nature, and environmental awareness among students.

Building Self-Confidence, Healthy Emotions & Kind Relationships
Class: 6th

Today, A 3 hours group counseling workshop was conducted for Class 6 students at Punjab Daanish School Boys Jand Attock , facilitated by Mr. Hammad Ali Khan (Counseling Officer), focusing on self-confidence, emotional awareness and expression, emotional regulation, empathy, kindness, and healthy relationships.

Students actively participated in interactive discussions and activities including My Strengths, Emotion Charades, What Would You Do?, and a creative Handprint Activity, where students used different colours to make handprints on a chart and wrote their strengths, positive qualities, goals, and kind actions.

The session provided students with an opportunity to express themselves, recognize their strengths, understand emotions, and learn positive ways to interact with others. Overall, the workshop was interactive, engaging, and productive, with enthusiastic participation from the students.

12th Rabi Ul Awwal Celebrations - Inter House Qirat and Naat Competition

As part of the 12 Rabi-ul-Awwal celebrations at Punjab Daanish School Boys Jand Attock, an Inter-House Qirat and Naat Competition was organized to foster love for the Holy Prophet ﷺ, promote Islamic values, and nurture students’ spiritual and oratory abilities.

Students from different houses participated with great enthusiasm and devotion, beautifully presenting Qirat and heartfelt Naats. Their performances reflected love and reverence for the Holy Prophet Muhammad ﷺ while also promoting confidence, discipline, and healthy competition.

Certificates were distributed among the position holders and participants in recognition of their outstanding performances and enthusiastic participation. The event added meaning to the 12 Rabi-ul-Awwal celebrations and beautifully reflected the spirit of “One Daanish Family" through faith, talent, and unity.

Welcome Back to School!

The students were warmly welcomed back to school after the summer vacation by Principal Prof. Noor Ul Islam. In his address, the importance of using time smartly and purposefully was emphasized, and students were advised to remain disciplined, manage their time effectively, and work consistently to achieve excellence.

A pledge was also administered to the students, through which their commitment to hard work, discipline, character building, and academic excellence was reaffirmed.
