Educational Visit to Cantonment Board Abbottabad

The international students of the Department of Development Studies, COMSATS University Islamabad, Abbottabad Campus, visited the Cantonment Board Abbottabad office as part of an academic and exposure visit.

The students were warmly received by Omer Masoom Wazir, Chief Executive Officer of Cantonment Board Abbottabad, who welcomed the delegation and briefed them on the Board's functions, services, and development initiatives.

During the visit, the students also toured the Women Skill Development Centre, where they observed various vocational training programs aimed at empowering women through skills development and livelihood opportunities. The delegation further visited the Cantonment Board offices and Cantt Public School to gain insights into local governance, public service delivery, and educational facilities within the cantonment area.

The visit provided a valuable opportunity for international students to better understand local development practices, community services, and institutional efforts contributing to social and economic development in Abbottabad.
