Overview
We invite applications for a Postdoctoral Research Fellow to join our research team at Centre for Advanced Drug Research COMSATS Abbottabad in the areas of molecular biology, cell biology, and biochemistry. The position is designed for highly motivated scientists who have recently completed their Ph.D. and are interested in advancing their career in biomedical and life sciences research. The fellow will contribute to ongoing projects and also develop independent ideas within the broader framework of the laboratory’s focus.

Key Responsibilities
Conduct cutting-edge research in molecular biology, cell biology, and/or biochemistry.
Design, plan, and execute experiments independently, ensuring reproducibility and scientific rigor.
Employ advanced techniques such as molecular cloning, protein expression and purification, cell culture, flow cytometry, microscopy.
Analyze and interpret complex datasets; prepare research findings for high-impact publications.
Collaborate with team members, including graduate students and research associates, providing mentorship and training where required.
Present findings at lab meetings, seminars, national, and international conferences.
Assist in grant writing, proposal development, and preparation of research reports.
Essential Qualifications
A Ph.D. in Molecular Biology, Cell Biology, Biochemistry, or a related field.
Strong publication record in peer-reviewed international journals.
Proven expertise in experimental design and use of modern research methodologies.
Excellent communication, organizational, and problem-solving skills.
Desired Skills
Experience with mammalian cell culture, gene expression analysis (qPCR, RNA-seq), protein-protein interaction assays, and functional cell-based assays.
Familiarity with bioinformatics tools and ability to integrate computational approaches with experimental biology.
Demonstrated ability to work independently as well as part of a multidisciplinary team.
