COMSATS Rector,s Prof Dr. Raheel Qamar rapid action to prevail truth. After viral of this this guy vedeo saw that our student has to break bricks to earn a living. Raheel Sahib has immediately asked his staff officer to get in touch with him and make sure he gets a job or is offered an internship at our Lahore campus. However, when contacted he said that ever since the video went viral he has received dozens of job offers. We told him that it’s okay but if he still faced problems to let us know and we shall take care of him. We then started probing his background when he by mistake WhatsApped us from a foreign number +971-56-9878794. Seems his parents live abroad and he had a number from there. We then traced his social media and got the picture as well as his CV which clearly indicates that till April he was working and it seems he just did this to get an easy job offer.

We told the media group and they are apologising. Rector Sahib has told them to do a retraction also. What is even more worrisome is that a lot of our EE students have gotten really depressed seeing this and have been writing to on the social media and CUI has constantly been counselling them. Such people who spread such fake news should be banned for life as they are spreading hopelessness in our society for their small gain.
