Realizing the fact that the existing institute meant for the provision of training and education in the medical field, are barely insufficient, as they do not meet the increasing needs of our highly growing population. If keenly observed, own nursing homes, diagnostic centers and hospitals, desperately lack in qualified technicians, and well trained medical staff. The field of Medical Technology is of paramount importance as it is the central core of all the Medical Sciences. In majority of the cases the doctors, practitioners, clinicians and therapists are at the mercy of the lab reports prepared by the lab technicians and technologists. Pakistan not only as a developing country but also in view of it’s alarming population growth needs multitude of lab technicians and technologists and it is with this idea that the management of FRONTIER INSTITUTE OF MEDICAL SCIENCES Abbottabad initiated courses in medical lab technologies. Hence we are offering different technologies such as Pathology, Health, Pharmacy, Radiology, Physiotherapy, Anesthesia, Cardiac and Dental Technologies in order to play our role to meet the country demand. The establishment of FRONTIER INSITITUTE OF MEDICAL SCIENCES in Abbottabad city widely known for educational institutions, the center of Hazara Division and the gate-way to Azad kashmir and Northern Areas of Pakistan is the first forward-looking step to bridge the gap in this regard. FRONTIER INSITITUTE OF MEDICAL SCIENCES has no doubt, embarked upon a mission to impart quality professional training to the aspiring candidates in various disciplines. The skill - oriented diploma / certificate level courses taught here will certainly help to prepare the students to become competent medical technicians and physiotherapists, well versed with techniques in their relevant fields. The institute has also started DPH and MPH classes for Graduates, Masters and MBBS Doctors. The initiation of LHV courses and B.Sc Medical Technology is also in the pipe line.
