Formal Welcome Ceremony Sets a New Benchmark at the Department of English.

The Department of English proudly organized a formal welcome ceremony for newly admitted students, marking the beginning of an engaging and enriching academic journey. The event was thoughtfully arranged by the Directoress Student Affairs, Mrs. Farhat Jadoon, whose efforts were widely appreciated for their professionalism and warmth.

The welcome initiative set a new trend within the department, reflecting a commitment to fostering an inclusive and academically vibrant environment. Upon arrival, students were warmly received at the main gate and guided to the conference room, where a comprehensive orientation session was conducted.

During the session, respected members of the department’s faculty provided detailed briefings on essential academic and institutional matters. Students were introduced to the Learning Management System (LMS), examination procedures, and the importance of maintaining discipline throughout their academic tenure. The interactive session allowed students to gain clarity and confidence as they begin their studies.

The initiative was met with enthusiasm and appreciation from students, many of whom described it as a refreshing and much-needed step that sets a positive tone for their university experience. They acknowledged it as a “new initiative” and a “welcoming trend” that strengthens the connection between faculty and students.

The event concluded with a note of thanks from the Head of the Department, Dr. Aamir, who commended the organizing team and encouraged students to make the most of the opportunities ahead.

This formal welcome not only highlighted the department’s dedication to student engagement but also established a meaningful tradition that is expected to continue in the years to come.
