Huge thanks to the Persons with Disabilities Affairs Unit (PDAU), City Social Welfare and Development Office (CSWDO), ZC Sports Division Sports Development Services Division of Zamboanga City, and Zamboanga City Persons with Disability Federation (ZCPWDFed), and City Government of Zamboanga for allowing us to be part of this meaningful event. 💜

As an institution that promotes health, movement, and inclusion, it was a great honor to witness Persons with Disabilities showcase their skills in sports. It reminded us that disability does not define a person’s ability—it can inspire us to find ways to grow, adapt, and succeed in life.

As physical therapists and instructors at Brent Hospital and Colleges Incorporated, we will continue to advocate for movement, health, and inclusion, while inspiring young and future physical therapists to become promoters of function and advocates for inclusion. 💜♿

THURSDAY, AUGUST 21, 2026, IS NINOY AQUINO DAY—A NON-WORKING HOLIDAY.

Pursuant to Proclamation No. 1006, s. 2025, August 21, 2026 (friday) is declared a Special non-working holiday throughout the country in commemoration of the death anniversary of Senator Benigno "Ninoy" Aquino.

In observance of this holiday, there will be no classes and office transactions.

Reminding everyone to take necessary precautions to prevent heat-related illnesses.

Students are encouraged to observe the following precautions:

• Limit prolonged exposure to the heat and avoid strenuous outdoor activities whenever possible.
• Stay hydrated by drinking plenty of water throughout the day.
• Wear light and comfortable clothing, and seek shaded or cool areas when outdoors.

Prioritize your health and safety, especially during the periods of extreme heat.

CLASSES ARE REMAIN SUSPENDED TOMORROW, AUGUST 20,2026.

Pursuant to the City Mayor's declaration, classes at all levels throughout the city remain suspended, August 20, 2026 due to campus wide anti-dengue measure and extreme heat index.

Be advised that all classes shall be shifted online means synchronous/asynchronous to consider internet connectivity. Teaching personnel may go work from home.

As an institution committed to the promotion of health, education, compassion, and service, we recognize the importance of coming together during the times of uncertainity and grief.
