Last April 15, 2026, the University Student Council (USC) officially conducted the project turn-over to all College Student Councils (CSCs) in fulfillment of the Joint USCโCSC Project for Academic Year 2025โ2026. This initiative marks the successful culmination of collaborative efforts between the central and college-level student governments, reinforcing their shared commitment to responsive and impactful student leadership. The project was funded through a portion of the ๐๐% allocation derived from the ๐๐% CSC remittance to the USC, ensuring that student contributions are returned in the form of tangible and beneficial projects for the community.
This ๐๐๐๐ฅ๐ ๐๐ง๐ ๐๐๐ง๐๐ก ๐๐ซ๐จ๐ฃ๐๐๐ญ was initially conceptualized as a campaign platform of the then-running Mayor Fritzie Balagosa and was later formally presented through the collective efforts of the CCS-CSC Councilors and Representative to the USC Executives. Through continuous planning, coordination, and ex*****on, the initiative evolved from a proposed platform into a realized project that will soon provide comfort to our CCS Pythons.
The realization of this project would not have been possible without the leadership and dedication of the CCS-CSC Executives, including the Mayor, Vice Mayor Paul Zaragoza, and Senator Daniela Alpez, whose guidance and support ensured its successful implementation. Their collective efforts, alongside the help and support of the council members, highlight the strength of unified governance in transforming vision into reality.

The College of Computing Studies extends its warmest greetings to our Muslim brothers and sisters, near and far, on this joyous occasion of Eid'l Fitr. We join you in celebrating the spirit of Ramadan, a month of reflection, forgiveness, and renewal.
May this Eid'l Fitr bring us peace, happiness, and a chance to strengthen our bonds with loved ones. May Allah (SWT) grant swift justice and relief to our brothers and sisters facing hardships around the world, and may He accept our fasting, prayers, and good deeds. May we be guided to be better individuals, using our knowledge and skills to make a positive impact beyond Ramadan.
As computing professionals, let us strive to create innovative solutions that promote unity, compassion, and progress for all. Ameen!

Our blue-blooded siblings have once again proved that their commitment goes beyond mere wordsโembodying unity, service, and performance through their actions and unwavering dedication in serving the students of the College of Computing Studies. ๐

CCS continues its stand for good governance.
Our blue-blooded brothers and sisters in CCS continue to show what real leadership looks likeโleadership rooted in consultation before decision-making. From the election period until now, they have listened, acted, and provided solutions to the concerns raised by the students.
This level of transparency is a testament to their commitment to a clean and accountable administration. While transparency should be the bare minimum, only a few have the courage and consistency to publicly share financial reports and uphold this standard.
But their leadership does not end with transparency alone. Recently, they announced the reopening of comfort rooms and the provision of free waterโclear actions that reflect their campaign promise:
"Pakikinggan namin kayo. Ang proyekto namin ay manggagaling sa inyo."
These are not just wordsโthey are commitments turned into action.
Congratulations to the CCS-CSC. Your hard work deserves recognition.
Tuloy-tuloy ang pagsisilbiโfor the student, by the student, of the student.
Let us always be guided by the spirit of unity, service, and performance.

In response to the concerns raised by many students regarding accessible and functional facilities, the CCS โ College Student Council took immediate action to help bring comfort and convenience back to our college community.
Through the initiative of our Senator Daniela Alpez, together with the support of the Executive Body, efforts are now underway to restore and prepare the comfort rooms for student use. Earlier today, Senator Daniela, along with Vice Mayor Marvin Paul Zaragoza, CS Councilor Mattjhevic Anastacio, and IT Councilor Asraff Usman, conducted the purchasing of necessary materials needed for the initial operation and repair of the comfort rooms.
This initiative reflects the councilโs commitment to listening to the voices of the students and taking concrete actions to address their needs. Small steps like these remind us that leadership is not only about planning projectsโit is also about ensuring that the everyday needs and welfare of the student body are prioritized.
The CCS-CSC continues to work hand in hand to create a more comfortable, responsive, and student-centered environment for every Python in our community.
Stay tuned for more updates.

Midterms week can be overwhelming, but you donโt have to face it alone. Whether you were debugging until dawn or memorizing network protocols, the CCS-CSC wants to honor your grit and resilience.
Last Thursdayโs snack giveaway at the lobby was our way of giving back to the students who give their all to their studies. To our IT, CS, AD, and NT majors: take this small reward as a sign that you are doing great. Keep striving, keep coding, and keep making CCS proud!
