The Senior High School In-Service Training (INSET) is currently in full swing, and the Center for Digital and Blended Learning (CDBL) was proud to contribute to this weekโs lineup of professional development. Designed to sharpen pedagogical skills and enhance classroom efficiency, our Atenean Intelligence (AI) Sessions provided the faculty with essential tools for the modern classroom.
Held from 8:30 AM to 11:30 AM at the RFH, 5th Floor of the FWS Building, our contribution to the INSET focused on two transformative pillars:
1๏ธโฃ Orientation on Magis-360: A deep dive into the AdZU General Blended Learning Framework, ensuring our teachers can effectively design flexible and engaging learning environments.
2๏ธโฃ EMPACT Faculty Edition: A session on Responsible AI Use and Awareness, where we explored foundational AI concepts and ethical guidelines to help educators integrate these tools with purpose and integrity.
While the INSET continues with more sessions designed to update content knowledge and refine teaching practices, we are thrilled to have seen such high levels of engagement during our time with the faculty.
We extend our sincere thanks to Ms. Diane S Candido, SHS Principal, and the Assistant Principals of the SHS units for inviting us to be part of this ongoing training and for prioritizing digital innovation.
To our SHS teachers: thank you for your energy and dedication as you continue to grow and lead!

Grateful for the Invitation.
Thank you to C&E Adaptive Learning Solutions for the invitation to the Canvas Caravan 2026: โThe Intelligent Campus: Transforming Vision into Learning Innovationโ held last April 28, 2026 at Garden Orchid Hotel, Zamboanga City.
We truly appreciate the insightful sessionsโfrom the opening remarks by Ms. Marilou Baticolon, to thoughtโprovoking discussions on Adaptive Learning & Intelligent Feedback (Engr. Ericson Dimaunahan, Mapรบa University), Generative AI for Content Creation and Assessment (Roel Cyrus Magpantay, C&E ALS), and Verifiable Digital Documentation (Raphael Walker, Accredify). What an incredible and transformative two days of innovation it has been at the Ateneo de Zamboanga University! We recently concluded the intensive seminar-workshop "Teaching in the Age of AI: Strategies for Integrating AI in the Teaching and Learning Process" at the Richie Fernando, SJ Hall, FWS building, Ateneo de Zamboanga University. This milestone event brought together 65 dedicated educators from across our university units and partner institutions in Zamboanga, Basilan, and Jolo, all united by a shared commitment to bridging traditional pedagogy with the power of artificial intelligence.
This success was only possible through the synergy of a community deeply committed to digital transformation, and we wish to extend our most heartfelt gratitude to everyone involved. We are profoundly grateful to the Heads of our schools, colleges, and partner institutions for their vision in carefully selecting such high-caliber representatives and for granting them the time to attend. To the various offices of the university, we thank you for the silent support behind the scenesโthe technical assistance and logistical coordination that kept everything running seamlessly.
A special debt of gratitude is owed to our participants, who committed not only to learning new tools but to the mission of making education better and more engaging for our students. We also honor our committee members whose unwavering support provided the backbone for this event. Most importantly, we thank our speakersโDr. Maureen Olive B. Gallardo, Engr. Louie Virgil A. Gallardo, and Ms. Leah P. Mataโwho were with us through every step of planning and preparation, delivering their expertise with such patience and passion.
Finally, we send a massive shoutout to Dr. Dorothy Joann Lei Labrador-Rabajante and Mr. Romeo Rabajante Jr for their companionship in bringing our EdTech community to the forefront of academic excellence. Your dedication to the planning and ex*****on of these activities has truly placed our institution at the leading edge of modern instruction. As we return to our classrooms, we carry with us the spirit of innovation and a responsible, purposeful approach to AI that will undoubtedly shape the future of our learners.
