This Mr. and Ms. United Nations competition also helps people learn about how it feels to live in other countries with different livelihoods, education, and cultures. This competition also truly embodied the true spirit of UN which is mostly to unite countries together and help develop and grow together. This activity not only helped the participants, it also helped the students and audience in the crowd and not only let them learn about other countries, but also teaches them to overcome fears and stage fright.

Congratulations to all winners and participants and continue to learn about different countries and cultures!

The Zamboanga Chong Hua High School joins the United Nations Month 2025. 🌐🕊️

Last October 1, 2025, the Zamboanga Chong Hua High School held an opening program to start the celebration of the United Nations Month 2025 under the leadership of the Social Studies Club Advisers: Ms. Gema Jalon,Ms. Gail Ramiso, and Ms. Erlyn Arcillas. To start the program, the Vice President of the school’s Social Studies Club,Craig Xander C. Ang gave a speech on the rally that happened on September 23, 2025. This speech promoted the awareness of every single student and showed us that corruption needs to be stopped. After the speech, the activities for this month's celebration were announced. The activities include the Flag-Making competition which can help us learn about different countries and the flags will be made by using recycled materials. The other activity is the Mr. and Ms. United Nations where different contestants will dress up as people from different countries and this helps people learn more about other countries. After the announcement of activities, the President of the Social Studies Club, Jana Fairuz M. Tinguan gave a very inspirational speech on what the celebration is truly about.

The celebration of United Nations is important because it serves as a global forum for countries to promote peace and security and to prevent conflict. This celebration also helps to bring different countries and citizens together and promote different literature, languages, and cultures.
