HIGHLIGHT | This morning, February 9, 2026, Montessorians proudly gathered at the covered court for the much-anticipated Reading of Honors Ceremony for the 3rd Quarter. Students from Preparatory to Senior High School were formally recognized for their outstanding academic achievements, as certificates were awarded to those who demonstrated excellence, perseverance, and dedication throughout the term. The ceremony celebrated not only outstanding grades, but also the discipline, responsibility, and strong character that truly define a Montessorian.

The event also highlighted the talents of our young writers as the participants of the Essay Writing Contest, held in celebration of Literature Month, were officially announced. Their creativity, critical thinking, and passion for expression were commended, showcasing another dimension of excellence within the MDZ community. With proud parents, teachers, and fellow students witnessing the occasion, the ceremony served as a meaningful reminder that hard work and determination always bear fruit.

𝗠𝗗𝗭 𝗔𝗡𝗡𝗨𝗔𝗟 𝗟𝗢𝗩𝗘 𝗗𝗥𝗜𝗩𝗘 𝗗𝗢𝗡𝗔𝗧𝗜𝗢𝗡 𝟮𝟬𝟮𝟱

IN ACTION | This Christmas season, Montessori De Zamboanga carried out its Annual Love Drive Donation at the RSCC Orphanage in Talon-Talon, Zamboanga City, on December 13, 2025, with the dedicated support of the MDZ SPG and SSG Organization. It was a day filled with laughter, excitement, and heartfelt moments that reminded everyone of the true meaning of Christmas.

The children enjoyed playing games, fun performances, and surprises that lit up their faces with joy. Donation boxes and essential goods were distributed, each one a symbol of care and compassion. The team also visited a Church in Mampang to extend additional donations, continuing the mission of sharing blessings with the wider community.

Montessori De Zamboanga expresses its deepest and most heartfelt gratitude to the parents and students whose generosity made this program possible. Their kindness, willingness to give, and unwavering support brought warmth and hope to children who needed it most. Every contribution, big or small, became part of a larger act of love that touched many hearts.

To the families who opened their hearts this Christmas, thank you. Your support created moments of immense joy. Your kindness became a blessing to others, and in turn, a reminder of the goodness that thrives within this community.

A warm appreciation is also extended to the SPG and SSG Officers and Faculty members who added to this unforgettable experience. May this day inspire us to grow with love, compassion, and generosity.

𝙃𝘼𝙉𝙂𝙄𝙉𝙂 𝙊𝙁 𝙏𝙃𝙀 𝙂𝙍𝙀𝙀𝙉𝙎 2025

HIGHLIGHT | On this day, December 1, 2025, Montessori De Zamboanga welcomes this year's Christmas season through the school’s much anticipated “Hanging of the Greens” celebration, held at the covered court. The event was filled with meaning, tradition, and enthusiastic participation from students, parents, and teachers.

The program’s main highlight was a tableau presentation depicting the birth of Jesus Christ, performed by both Elementary and Senior High School learners. The presentation emphasized the true significance of Christmas and how it came to be, and the importance of love and family.

Adding joy and excitement, selected students from all grade levels dressed as Santa Claus, spreading cheer as they handed out candy to the audience. This lively moment brought laughter, delight, and a sense of Christmas spirit. A fun and unforgettable experience.

To conclude the celebration, each class participated in decorating designated areas of the school grounds. This final activity showcased creativity, teamwork, and a strong sense of community, transforming the Montessori de Zamboanga campus into a vibrant holiday display.

On October 3, 2025, Montessori De Zamboanga joyfully honored the invaluable contributions of our teachers during this year’s Teachers’ Day Celebration. The program featured heartfelt student performances, thoughtful tokens of gratitude, and meaningful tributes that highlighted the dedication and service of our beloved educators.

This memorable occasion was made possible through the collective efforts of the students and the guidance and support of the Supreme Student Government (SSG). Truly, it was a day that reflected our deep appreciation for the teachers who continue to inspire, guide, and nurture the minds and hearts of every learner.

Today’s Food Expo brought classrooms to life with colorful, creative, and nutritious food displays lovingly prepared and presented by our fellow Montessorians.
