Our warmest congratulations to our dear Senior High School students, along with their coach, Mr. Michael Mendoza, for proudly representing our school for the very first time at the 11th Philippine Robothon, held at the University of San Agustin, Iloilo. 🤖✨
We also extend our heartfelt gratitude to our School Administrators and supportive parents for their unwavering guidance, encouragement, and trust. This milestone would not have been possible without your continued support.
May God continue to bless you all as you pursue excellence in both knowledge and character.

Honoring the Legacy of Ma'am Judith: A Life Lived in Service
The Claretian community is enveloped in sorrow today as we mourn the passing of our dedicated colleague, Ma’am Judith, a beloved Christian Living Education Teacher. Ma'am Judith passed away this early Monday morning following a sudden cerebral aneurysm she suffered two days ago.
Her final act was a beautiful embodiment of her faith and her lifelong commitment to education. At the time of the incident, she was not just reading or organizing; she was engaged in profound spiritual guidance, leading the children in praying the Rosary as a meaningful part of the day’s program.
This tragic news casts a heavy shadow over what was scheduled to be our annual Personnel’s Day Celebration. While the day’s planned festivities will undoubtedly be subdued, the memory of Ma’am Judith’s selfless dedication will serve as a poignant reminder of the true purpose of our work.
Ma’am Judith did not just teach Christian Living Education; she lived it. She devoted her life to nurturing the spiritual and educational growth of her students, ultimately giving her last moments in the act of service, reaching out to those most in need.
Her legacy will live on in the countless lives she touched—not only in the classroom but also in the distant communities where she passionately shared the gifts of literacy and faith. May we honor her memory by continuing the vital work she believed in so deeply.

MEMORIAL OF THE CLARETIAN MARTYRS
Every February 1, which coincides with the commemoration of the attack against Fr. Claret in HolguÃn, Cuba, is dedicated to collectively honoring the memory of the 184 members of the Congregation of Missionaries Sons of the Immaculate Heart of Mary who died during Church persecution in Mexico (1927) and Spain (1936-1939). They remained true to their mission, forgiving their executioners, showing love for Mary and the Church, caring for the needy, and demonstrating strong missionary zeal. We remember them, following the chronological order of beatifications: the 51 Martyrs of Barbastro (October 25, 1992), Fr. Andrés Solá Molist (November 20, 2005), the 23 Martyrs beatified in Tarragona (October 13, 2013), and the 109 beatified in Barcelona (October 22, 2017). And as a Province, we will remember in a special way, Fr. Rhoel Gallardo, CMF, martyr for peace.

CONGRATULATIONS!
The Grade School and Junior High School Departments are granted re-accreditation (LEVEL II) for five years by the Philippine Accrediting Association of Schools, Colleges and Universities (PAASCU), valid until May 2029.
This is a remarkable testament to Claret School of Zamboanga City's unwavering commitment to journey with and inspire the young in their pursuit of excellence both in knowledge and virtue.
Kudos to all CSZC personnel (former and present), students, parents and alumni! Our hardwork, cooperation and dedication definitely paid off. Many thanks as well to all the people who supported and inspired us through their prayers, words of encouragement and assistance.
This announcement was made through a letter sent to the school on June 4, 2024, the same date when our beloved Grade School Principal Mrs. Teresita "Ma'am Tita" Laruya passed away. Maam Tita worked unrelentingly for this accreditation while silently battling the grips of cancer. Ma'am Tita, this achievement is for you. CHEERS!
