✨Sa bawat paglakad natin sa pasilyo ng paaralan at sa bawat upuan sa silid-aralan, hindi natin dapat kalimutan ang pinakamahalagang bahagi ng ating pagkatao, ang ating sariling wika. Ang wikang Filipino ay hindi lamang simpleng paraan ng pakikipag-usap, ito rin ang ating pagkakakilanlan, ang tulay ng ating kasaysayan, at ang tinig ng ating kultura. Tayo bilang mga mag-aaral ay may mahalagang tungkulin na ipagmalaki, ipreserba, at gamitin ito nang may pagmamahal at paggalang.

Sabi nga ni Dr. Jose Rizal, ‘Ang hindi marunong magmahal sa sariling wika ay higit pa sa hayop at malansang isda.’ Paalala ito sa ating lahat na ang pagmamahal sa wika ay kaakibat ng pagmamahal sa ating bayan. Sa panahong puno ng pagbabago at makabagong teknolohiya, huwag sana nating kalimutan na sa paggamit at pagpapayabong ng ating sariling wika, mas lalo nating pinagtitibay ang ating pagkakaisa bilang mga Pilipino.

Mga kapwa ko mag-aaral, ang wika ay ating sandata at gabay tungo sa tagumpay. Ito ang magbubukas ng pinto sa mas malawak na kaalaman, at ito rin ang mag-uugnay sa atin upang sabay-sabay nating makamit ang ating mga pangarap. Nawa’y patuloy nating ipagdiwang at mahalin ang Wikang Filipino, sapagkat sa bawat salitang ating binibigkas, naroroon ang ating dangal at diwa bilang isang nagmamalasakit at nagmamahal na Pilipino. ✨
