SCOUTING HIGHLIGHTS | Mercedes National High School Holds 12th Council-Wide Simultaneous Institutional Camp
On September 25–26, 2026, Mercedes National High School hosted the 12th Council-Wide Simultaneous Institutional Camp, bringing students together for two days of learning, teamwork, and shared experiences.
The camp offered participants an opportunity to step beyond the classroom and put important values into practice. Through organized activities, students strengthened their leadership, cooperation, discipline, and sense of responsibility while building friendships with fellow campers.
More than a gathering, the event was a chance for young people to challenge themselves, support one another, and discover the value of working toward common goals. Each activity encouraged participants to take part, learn from experience, and contribute to the spirit of the camp.
The successful conduct of the two-day event reflected the dedication of the school’s organizers, staff, and volunteers, whose efforts helped create a meaningful experience for everyone involved.
As the camp came to a close, students carried home more than memories. They left with renewed confidence, stronger connections, and lessons they could bring back to their school and community.
