A reminder from Sir Al: sometimes, doing good can feel difficult when the world around us seems to reward the opposite. But our good deeds are not measured by how they are received by people—they are known and valued by Allah.

When the heart grows tired, return to Iman. Allah knows our struggles, hears the whispers of our hearts, and sees every effort we make.

Keep doing good. Keep trusting Allah. What is done sincerely for Him is never wasted. 🤲

On this blessed Jumu‘ah, let us remember that doing good is never meaningless, even when the world around us makes it difficult.

Allah knows every struggle, every sincere effort, and every whisper within our hearts. May He strengthen our Iman, keep us steadfast in goodness, and remind us to always place our trust in Him.

Alhamdulillah, you made it through Phase 2! ✨

Congratulations to everyone who successfully passed the Skills Test! 🥹 You’ve come another step closer to becoming part of the Atenean Muslim Assembly family.

We often think of charity (sadaqah) solely in terms of money, but Islam shifts our perspective entirely. A warm smile, a comforting word, holding a door open, or simply removing something harmful from someone's path—these small, daily interactions hold immense weight in the eyes of Allah.

Generosity isn't about how much you have in your bank account; it’s about how much love, care, and intentional kindness you share with the world around you. You don't need wealth to make a meaningful difference; you just need a willing heart.

May Allah allow us to be a source of ease and goodness for everyone we meet, and may He accept our everyday actions as sincere charity. Ameen. 🤲✨

𝘼𝙨-𝙎𝙖𝙡𝙖𝙢𝙪’𝘼𝙡𝙖𝙮𝙠𝙪𝙢 𝙬𝙖 𝙍𝙖𝙝𝙢𝙖𝙩𝙪𝙡𝙡ā𝙝𝙞 𝙏𝙖’𝙖𝙡𝙖 𝙬𝙖 𝘽𝙖𝙧𝙖𝙠𝙖𝙩𝙪𝙝𝙪

🕌 𝙎𝘼𝙇𝘼𝙃 — 𝙊𝙐𝙍 𝘾𝙊𝙉𝙉𝙀𝘾𝙏𝙄𝙊𝙉 𝙒𝙄𝙏𝙃 𝘼𝙇𝙇𝘼𝙃

Salah is the second pillar of Islam and one of the greatest acts of worship entrusted to us. Five times a day, we are called to pause from the busyness of life and return to Allah ﷻ through Fajr, Dhuhr, Asr, Maghrib, and Isha.

The Prophet Muhammad ﷺ said that the first deed a person will be questioned about on the Day of Judgment is their prayer. If it is sound, the rest of their deeds will be sound; but if it is deficient, they will be among those who have lost.

Salah is more than just an obligation—it is our connection with Allah ﷻ. It is where we find peace, seek forgiveness, and remind ourselves of our purpose. When we neglect our Salah, we distance ourselves from our Creator, who knows and understands us completely.

Let us guard our five daily prayers, strive to perform them within their proper time, and never take Salah for granted. May Allah ﷻ make us among those who establish their prayers, remain steadfast in worship, and find comfort in drawing closer to Him.

On the 𝟏𝟏𝐭𝐡 𝐨𝐟 𝐒𝐞𝐩𝐭𝐞𝐦𝐛𝐞𝐫, our 𝐌𝐮𝐬𝐥𝐢𝐦 𝐛𝐫𝐨𝐭𝐡𝐞𝐫𝐬 𝐚𝐧𝐝 𝐬𝐢𝐬𝐭𝐞𝐫𝐬 gathered once again to perform a 𝐉𝐮𝐦𝐮'𝐚𝐡 𝐏𝐫𝐚𝐲𝐞𝐫 as an 𝙖𝙘𝙩 𝙤𝙛 𝙬𝙤𝙧𝙨𝙝𝙞𝙥, 𝙥𝙧𝙖𝙞𝙨𝙚, 𝙖𝙣𝙙 𝙪𝙣𝙘𝙤𝙣𝙙𝙞𝙩𝙞𝙤𝙣𝙖𝙡 𝙡𝙤𝙫𝙚 𝙩𝙤 𝘼𝙡𝙡𝙖𝙝 (𝙎𝙒𝙏). This serves as a significant reminder for us about the 𝐭𝐫𝐮𝐞 𝐚𝐧𝐝 𝐠𝐫𝐞𝐚𝐭 𝐯𝐚𝐥𝐮𝐞 of the 𝙨𝙚𝙘𝙤𝙣𝙙 𝙥𝙞𝙡𝙡𝙖𝙧 𝙞𝙣 𝙄𝙨𝙡𝙖𝙢, 𝙎𝙖𝙡𝙖𝙝 (𝙥𝙧𝙖𝙮𝙚𝙧), in our everyday lives.

As we do our prayer 𝐟𝐢𝐯𝐞𝐬 𝐭𝐢𝐦𝐞𝐬 𝐚 𝐝𝐚𝐲, let us be reminded that we should do it 𝐰𝐢𝐭𝐡 𝐚 𝐬𝐢𝐧𝐜𝐞𝐫𝐞 𝐡𝐞𝐚𝐫𝐭. As 𝐔𝐦𝐦 𝐅𝐚𝐫𝐰𝐚𝐡 𝐫𝐞𝐩𝐨𝐫𝐭𝐞𝐝: The Prophet, peace and blessings be upon him, was asked, “Which 𝙙𝙚𝙚𝙙𝙨 𝙖𝙧𝙚 𝙗𝙚𝙨𝙩?” The Prophet said, “𝙋𝙧𝙖𝙮𝙚𝙧 𝙖𝙩 𝙩𝙝𝙚 𝙗𝙚𝙜𝙞𝙣𝙣𝙞𝙣𝙜 𝙤𝙛 𝙞𝙩𝙨 𝙩𝙞𝙢𝙚.” 🤲

Sunan Ibn Majah 1783

The Prophet ﷺ taught Muadh that Allah has prescribed Zakat from the wealth of those who have it, to be taken from the rich and given to their poor.

Zakat is 𝓶𝓸𝓻𝓮 𝓽𝓱𝓪𝓷 𝓳𝓾𝓼𝓽 𝓰𝓲𝓿𝓲𝓷𝓰, it is 𝓾𝓹𝓱𝓸𝓵𝓭𝓲𝓷𝓰 what Allah (SWT) has placed upon our wealth and 𝓻𝓮𝓶𝓮𝓶𝓫𝓮𝓻 𝓽𝓱𝓸𝓼𝓮 𝓲𝓷 𝓷𝓮𝓮𝓭.

May we all 𝒐𝒃𝒔𝒆𝒓𝒗𝒆 𝒁𝒂𝒌𝒂𝒕 and fulfill our responsibility toward those in need. ✨💰
